The Roche system has no planets, but rather is filled with vast asteroid fields. These asteroids are the home of the Verpine, an insectoid species known for their extraordinary technological and engineering skills. The headquarters of the Roche Hive is to be found here, as is the HQ of Slayn and Korpil, upon it's respective asteroids. The Verpine were instrumental to the project Shantipole, which developed the B-wing fighter, and key were key Allies of the Rebel Alliance, in ongoing Civil War.
