{Jams on! Good only!} We need to formulate a plan. I can see Bad are already planning something from the fact that they have started jammering already. We need to ensure that they don't get ahead of us. I suggest the following. Mordor and Khand will almost certainly seize Nurn and Gorgoroth before doing anything. If we can mobilize a large force to hold them back, at the Morgul Vale and Ithilien, we'll have a chance on that front. Osgiliath and Cair Andros must be held at all costs. Rohan and Aglarond can be given the main task of blocking the north, as if those areas are held, their HQs will be under no threat, unless Gondor falls. Our main danger is the south. Harad is the greatest of the Bad HQs, and with Umbar at their side, they will surely march north, and little will be able to stop them. I propose that Gondor, our greatest force, assists Dol Amroth there. Assuming everyone starts at the same time, Dol Amroth, Gondor, Harad, and Umbar should all arrive In Harondor at the same time. It is there we should hold them. If we can, we should push them back to the Crossings of the Harnen, but we can always hold the Crossings of the Poros. While Gondor forces Umbar and Harad to concentrate their efforts on land battles, Dol Amroth will send in a fleet, to keep Umbar under attack and prevent them from training more troops. What say you, my friends? ~Elphiril the Fair, Lord and Prince of Dol Amroth
{JAMMERS! -Good- ONLY!} Hmm, I'm not sure where your dwarves would be best placed now Shamrock. Perhaps you should use them to defend Lebennin so you can hold Tolfalas. If we push them back we can probably hold out better, but that will be difficult. Bobby, you can probably bring some of the Gondorians down from Dagorlad to be used elsewhere, although I don't know what we're facing yet and I think Khand's armies have yet to reach us.
{JAMMERS! -username- ONLY!} Perhaps I should send them to South Ithilien? That way they'd be able to help defeat Umbar there. I could have some transports constructed at Pelargir and sent across the Anduin, so that the dwarves could be pulled back to Lebennin within a day if needed.
{JAMMERS! -Good- ONLY!} Alright, sounds good Shamrock. Umbar has to be weak, because it has troops all up the East side of the Anduin, unless one army is vastly larger than the rest.
Also, Bobby, I think we should attack at Mordor where it is weakest first, so we don't have too many fights going on. The question is whether we attack Udun or Morgul, although I suspect they may strike first.

{JAMMERS! -Good- ONLY!} 8Legos has just posted how many ships he has. Most of them are Destroyers. He has more of them than I do, but I have more larger ships. Ramming won't to that much damage to bigger ships, and he hasn't made a post placing troops on Destroyers, so he can't board my ships. So far, so good. Once I've dealt with his ships, I can destroy his fortifications and landed troops with my siege ships. Everything looks good.
I know this doesn't really affect me and the choice is yours, but I suggest pressing the Morgul Vale. From what I've seen there's only around 8, 000 Evil troops there, as opposed to 20, 000 or so at Udun Vale. If you could break through and attack Gorgoroth, Bad would probably draw troops from Udun Vale to help defend it. If they did not, we might be able to capture it and attack the Udun forces from behind.
{JAMMERS! -Good- ONLY!} I'd like to remind you all that if we match the forces of Evil in every topic, all it does is insure a stand-still - I would recommend that instead of matching them full-force, we leave a skeleton garrison in the city's Shamrock suggested, and sail our main assault down to Harad and attack from there. I'm prepared to re-organize Rohan's forces (If Bobby agrees) to send 6,000 cavalry and 4,000 Sword/spearmen to Harad, while their forces are engaged at the crossing of Poros. I'm not totally caught up yet, so I don't know if this has already happened, but I'd suggest Aglarond send forces to the crossing of Poros - the dwarve's units are best suited to the situation, whereas Gondor's or Rohan's units would be shot down by the archers on the other side. I would also suggest that Aglarond not worry about garrisons, as they're basically surrounded by Rohan and we can worry about their defense.

{JAMMERS! -GOOD- ONLY!} I have a skeleton garrison, 1000 troops at Aglarond. I can gather all my troops from regions and send them down, about 3000 I think plus the 1000 from Aglarond. I want to try and push through Udun Vale since I think we have a chance. If someone there can take control of the Gondorians and Rohirrim there that would be great. Otherwise the troops there could overwhelm us and storm through the North. I can pull some to Morgul Vale where I could try to break through before they can respond too. Poros is much easier to hold due to the small size of the crossing and the large amount of Evil's troops there. If we could destroy Umbar's Navy too, we could sail up Poros and bombard Evil there. Speaking of Umbar's Navy, I noticed they were using some 'firethrowers' with considerable range on them. I would challenge that Shamrock, it seems very OP.

{JAMMERS! GOOD ONLY!} @goat: The thing is, we have to make sure we hold the choke points, places like Poros, Morgul Vale, and Udun Vale. Otherwise, Evil just pours into our lands, and then we're in trouble. Attacking them elsewhere is a good idea, tho, we just have to make sure it doesn't cost us elsewhere. Where do you plan on taking these troops from?
@all: The issue with Poros is not so much the archers, it's the oliphaunts. We need to figure out a way to stop them there, otherwise they just rampage through our lines. I only fought oliphaunts once before, so I have little knowledge of how to defeat them. Either way, allocating some dwarves to assist there is a good idea.
@mlb: We're working on troop stuff, someone should take control of those troops soon.

Your dwarves are, at least in my opinion, best suited for heavier, shield-wall type formations. But you probably already knew that. Anyways, back to strategy. Yes, I'll take over the Rohirrim at Udun Vale, and let one of you handle the Gondorians. As to our invasion, I had another plan I just thought up - if we could use the dwarves almost entirely as a defensive force, given their being more suited to stationary heavy defenses, and use their siege weapons on the offense, we could focus more of Gondor's forces away from the Crossing of Poros and it's regions and instead help me and the Rohirrim invade Harad/Umbar. Thoughts?

{JAMMERS! -Good- ONLY!} First off - weren't you for the Haradrim or something last I checked? Lol. Anyways, see my other post - I was thinking about using Aglarond's troops better fit to defenses to leave the Gondorians open for more offensive warfare, which their knights and troops, etc. are more suited for.
As to the Oliphaunts, in the books and movies they used arrows, which ought to work, but if not, a ballistae ought to. I'll see if I can get a new siege weapon design I had in mind passed and get some to Poros.

That does make sense, tho we have to be careful. Evil is already knocking on our doorstep, and if we don't shuffly our troops cautiously, they may break one of our holding points in the transition.
The Oliphaunts in use are Argh's version, which, if I recall correctly, used silk or cloth coverings to protect much of the creature from arrows. Although if we can nail the people riding the beast, that would work. But siege engines would definitely work, we should get some down there ASAP.

{JAMMERS! -Good- ONLY!}Firstly, shamrock, can you send any Elite snipers to Poros to target the Oliphaunts, I believe crossbows make much better snipers than bows for numerous reasons. Perhaps one person should command the army in a certain place, for example I command the Rohirrim, Gondorians and Dwarves in Udun. I'll post more later, school lunch just ended
