Quite possibly the best depiction of me in a while. Will be reading more!

My phone vibrated as my second alarm went off, pulling me from yet another beautiful dream. I quickly turned it off and rolled over, snuggling deeper into my fluffy white tiger blanket. One of my legs rolled over a familiar soft, warm lump in the blanket. My cat was smack dab in the middle of my bed taking up most of the mattress and blanket.
I pulled my leg away and settled for an uncomfortable rest with a little corner of my blanket. My cat yawned and stretched out her front legs. Her golden yellow eyes met mine for a few moments before she lazily blinked. I felt myself smile slightly. Oh man, was she ever cute!
Sighing, I sat up and rubbed the sleep out of my eyes. She began grooming the fur on her back with her sandpaper-like tongue. "Oh Autumn," I muttered as I began stroking between her ears, "You just have a knack for being adorable." I began running my hands along the sides of her face and she leaned into them. Aww! A familiar raspy motor started up somewhere deep inside her throat. I just didn't have the heart to shove her over off my mattress today.
I stopped petting her for a moment and glanced around the room I shared with my younger sister. Golden sun beams were streaming through a crack my cat had made in between the purple curtains, bathing our bedroom with light. Autumn seemed to have been a bit active last night since the purple dragon my sister had crocheted for my last birthday wasn't on the shelf at the foot of my bed but on the floor, again.
Speaking of my sister, I glanced down at the lower part of our trundle bed where she slept. She had pulled her fluffy horse blanket up over her head and was still sleeping. I smirked, how she could do that for long periods of time let alone sleep, was beyond me. She probably woke up early this morning because of the cat.
My eyes trailed to the clock perched on one of our dressers. 8:16 a.m. Hm, figures. I couldn't hear any movement from the rest of the house so I assumed I was the only one awake. I propped myself up with my pillow and unlocked my phone. Maybe I'd browse Youtube for a bit.
My recommended page seemed to be mostly full of music, let's play videos, and dank memes. I wasn't in the mood for any of those so I kept scrolling. Then I got a push notification for my email account.
Normally, I ignored these but I noticed that it was a message from the moderators of the Eternal Message Boards or EMB's for short. Curious, I logged into my account and opened the private message. Funny, I thought, I knew they were looking for new mods but I've never seen anyone named John Doe around. The message was pretty straight forward, just a reminder to review the community guidelines and he even provided a handy link to the page. I've always been a rule abiding user, so I tapped the link without hesitation.
That was a mistake. A blinding light flashed from my phone's screen, sending a wave of nausea through me. I couldn't see and I couldn't think. Then everything went black and my body went numb.

That was a mistake. A blinding light flashed from my phone's screen, sending a wave of nausea through me. I couldn't see and I couldn't think. Then everything went black and my body went numb.
When I opened my eyes, I found myself in a large space of white nothingness. I slowly got up and looked myself over for any injuries. I couldn't find any open wounds and my head seemed fine. I was still wearing my pink pajamas though, that could be a problem. I stood up and began to walk forward, trying to find anything other than the colour white.
I had only taken two steps when a hologram-like screen appeared in front of me. It looked like a computer login screen with places for my username and password. On a hunch, I selected the username space. Immediately, a keyboard popped up on the screen. Hm, maybe I should create an account? After some thought, I typed in a username, "Emy34." Wow, that name brought back memories. Now, for the password. I typed that in without hesitation and confirmed it. I then pressed a button labeled, "Next."
Another screen appeared, this time it said, "Avatar." Hmm...there were several options like Lego, an option to search for an image, or a custom one. I selected the search option and Google Images came up. I weighed my options before smirking and typing in, "Ink Sans." Several images came up, most made me visibly cringe but after a bit of scrolling I found what I was looking for, a cartoon skeleton casually holding a giant paintbrush. Well, the internet sure hadn't changed. I chuckled before pressing a button labeled, "Confirm." The image loaded into the avatar menu while I waited patiently. When it was done, a screen appeared displaying all the information I had previously entered along with some text asking if everything was correct. I pressed a button labeled, "Yes, let's go!"
Immediately, my body began glowing and I felt myself change form. Meanwhile, the white nothingness was replaced with strings of visible code and a loading screen. Then I felt myself pass out, again.
When I finally woke up again, I was lying on a comfortable bed. I sat up and took a look around at my surroundings. I was in a cream coloured room with several other beds and a few other pieces of furniture like tables and tall mirrors. I slid off the bed and stood up but as I did I caught sight of myself in a nearby mirror. "Oh. My. Goodness."
It turns out that the image I had chosen for my avatar was now what I looked like. Staring back at me in the mirror was a male skeleton dressed in brown painter's garb with blue stripes. I had on brown fingerless gloves, a long brown scarf that reached to my ankles, a blue jacket with a fur fringe was tied around my waist, a sash with different vials of paint was across my chest, and I was wearing a pair of black high tops on my feet. I covered my mouth with my hands before stepping closer to the mirror. I noticed that everytime I blinked the pinpricks in my eye sockets changed colours and shapes. Also, the username I had chosen was displayed along with the rank "Caveman," on a hologram floating above my skull. This was so weird, yet cool!
I glanced over at the small table near the bed I had been in. Leaning against it was the giant paintbrush. I picked it up slowly; huh, it was actually lighter than I had first assumed it was. I gripped it tightly in both hands before swinging it at the very bland wall. It left a rainbow streak where the brush had connected with the surface. Double cool!
There was a pair of double doors at one side of the room so I decided to go explore a little. Pushing them open revealed a long hallway with holograms along the walls. Interesting. I began walking down the hallway but as I did, a robotic voice started speaking.
"Welcome to the Eternal Message Boards. We hope you enjoy your time here and have fun. Please take a moment to read the community rules and guidelines before posting. Thank you and have a great day."
I heard a soft ding and a small screen popped up near my face. I had a message, unsurprisingly it was a copy of the rules. I quickly gave them a look over before closing the screen and continuing onward.
"What sorcery is this?" This all seemed like a dream but it was just too real. Just to be sure, I flicked my radius. Well I was still here and that didn't really hurt. I had reached the other end of the hallway and was faced with another set of double doors. Well, here goes nothing. I pushed open the doors and stepped through to be faced with a loading screen.

Hour 02
So much could've gone wrong with that avatar selection.
We need to discuss Redwall sometime, I've read all the books.
OOC: Cool! I've read all of them as well.... multiple times.
I just discovered that my library got rid of the whole series for shelf space, sad day. I read them all once, a couple twice, and then listened to probably over half as the books on tape.
