I think so. Probably. Maybe. It's hard to tell when you've been homeschooled all your life and you really don't care what grade you're in as long as the weekend comes soon.
That... is very true. I can really relate to that.
Chapter Fifty-Four (ABV) Calling the Calvery (part 2)
She nodded gratefully. “Well I remember that he seemed a little moody but not drastically so I went to bed and that’s the last time I saw him. The next morning I went to the store early and when I still hadn’t heard anything from him I tried to contact him for an hour, nothing happened so I checked the alarm for the house. There was a signal he left me there, a precaution he’d always been adamant about.” She started to break down a little as her voice broke and she struggled to go on, “I always thought he was being needlessly paranoid but now.” She gave a choked sob and King pushed tissues across the desk with concern. “I know this is hard for you, but the more you can tell me the better chances of finding him okay?” He said gently. Maya nodded and summoning will power went on, “Now I’m worried that something very bad has happened. I don’t think it has anything to do with his money he’s very generous with it. A philanthropist actually. I never knew of anyone who had it out for him or held a grudge for any reason, but then he always avoided talking about that sort of thing.” King nodding and finished writing down her words. “Okay, I need you to fill out these forms so we can get more general info. Don’t worry, we will take care of you. You will be escorted to get our things and move into one of our safe houses, for your own protection you understand. Anything you need right now?” She shook her head sadly, clearly overwhelmed, and wiped with a handful of tissues at her running mascara. “I have access to the bank accounts so I have money. I think I should be alright for now.” She folded in on herself and sighed heavily. King called for his faithful secretary to come up and tried to say the most comforting things he can think of to help Maya. He wished he could do more for this unfortunate lady who was going through the same grief he did when his family had died.

Cont…
I miss my family.
possible one of the most saddest smashings of the entire story. ;.;
Now that he was seeing it again he remembered everything. He could do nothing but watch it play out again. Little Conner and Mom going to get Nexo from his schools late rehearsal. The car ride, seeing the fire engines race past into their neighborhood. Mom speeding up and then all of them seeing the house, totally ablaze. How hard it was to breath, how hot. He woke gasping for breath. Nexo and Damian were on either side of him with scared faces. Con shook his head weakly, “Nightmare. Nexo, I remembered.” After making sure he was really okay Nexo and Damian went back their beds. Con could tell that Nexo wasn’t sleeping either, but eventually Damian’s distant and even breathing lulled him back to a tired sleep. They woke up the next morning totally unrested and looking terrible from their un-beauty sleep, and yet Con felt a strange peace. The torture of not remembering his past was finally at resolved. His first mother was finally at rest, no longer misplaced. It was the beginning of the end to his past problems.
I swear, sometimes I think you all disappear at the same time to force me into writing or some such plot.
...That is totally what happens... yeah... <_< >_>
Chapter Fifty-Seven New Zealan’ New Zealan’ (part 2)
Elliea turned one more time, “Quick check, we good?” Rome thought for a moment, he felt normal. Crazy nervous and all but normal. He nodded back and the teams began to move into the lobby from all entrances. They all came in at once and a guy from one of the other teams barked at the people in the lobby, “Everyone hands behind your heads and move to that corner.” He gestured with his weapon and all the shocked people moved slowly in that direction. The staff were quickly searched for weapons and then the teams moved on to the next floor up, leaving behind a few guards. They cleared the next four floors with no trouble, that left them with only the top floor where Seyso would be. Eagle moved in quietly, they were crossing the empty waiting room and approaching the door that would lead to the secretary’s room. Elliea reached for the door knob as the others covered her. Rome felt the crackle blaze down his spine the moment her glove touched the metal and he shouted, “NO,” the first thing he could think of. Everyone dropped to the floor out of habit and a split second later bullets ripped through the air where their heads had been. Elliea slithered forward on the floor and everyone else moved to the sides of the room, she flipped on her back and used both legs to kick the door. Four kicks and it splintered inward and she rolled to the side out of fire line. The others shot cover fire from where they were and Ellia shouted, “Surrender now!” The answer was enemy fire. Elliea shouted, “Last warning.” Then nodded at Lily, she nodded back and before their eyes a full sized 3D Benjamin Seyso appeared. They mirage walked around and in the door, there was a cry of momentary surprise with Nexo took advantage, he jumped into the doorway and let the lead fly. The secretary was injured but not fatialy so one of the med/evac teams took here away. They carefully went into Seyso’s large office, to their surprise he was calmly sipping chardonnay and gazing out the picture window. He set his glass down, smiled and came along with them calmly. The teams all met up again at the NZ branch HQ, to question Daxon and Benjamin.
Con sighed and rubbed the back of his neck before going in search of his brother, he found him in the paining room looking over some of Lilly’s pieces and kicked off the conversation in a typical manner. “Hey.” Nexo responded in the expected way. “Hey.” Conner continued, “I been thinking. What with mom gone and all...I think we should go see the family in Ireland. They’ve been dying to meet you and, well they almost feel more like my family you know?” Nexo thought for a moment with a hooded expression before smiling, “Yeah, I think that’ll be good.” He slung an arm around his younger brother’s shoulders. “Let’s do it. Might be pretty good for us.” Con felt something sharp inside his chest click back into the proper place. Maybe this was what healing felt like?
Out of the darkness into the light. Perspective can affect everything. Breaking through involves healing and it is the most spectacular feeling of freedom that has ever been experienced.
The End
✤ Breakthrough ✤
Wait something happened to Lily in this version too?
So yep. That's the nice ending folks. It's really nicely tied up so there could be no third story. Anyway disclaimer time! All people and situations in this story are completely fabricated and all may have been used without the original owner's permission. The views and representations and all content of this story and the comments surrounding are not necessarily the views held by the author, other users or producers. Now with that out of the way time for the cast and crew.
Credits! Yes! Perfect!! xD actually I greatly appreciate this, because I kept forgetting who was who sometimes.
So, if this was the end of your movie, what song would be playing during these credits? I feel like I need to listen to something that matches the heart of the story to officially finish the experience of reading Breakthrough.
Glad you like. XD lol don't worry, I the writer did that once or twice too XD
Hmmm, probably The Call (from Prince Caspian).
And for the trailer I guess Narnia Lullaby is good though you may know a better one. :3
Okay wow, I think those songs would work perfectly
