It was one week after Con had meet her. This crazy girl who showed up in his life and told him, "Guess what? I know your brother and you get to meet him, but only if you trust me enough to get on this plane to a completely different country with me." Okay maybe not just like that, but paraphrasing or whatever. Con slumped at the carved oak table he was sitting at. He couldn't make up his mind whether he should go with this girl or not. After all she could be some crazy, or she could be telling the truth and really know his brother. The pin sized ache that was ever-present throbbed when he thought of his brother, his only family left. It had been so many years. He gazed down onto the hard surface before him. This beautiful table had been in the family for years, and Con had spent many, many days at it. But as he traced his fingers in the hand carvings he knew that this wasn't his family table. He appreciated all his foster parents and siblings had done for him, but it was time to face this new adventure. Time to embrace this painful part of him. And maybe find healing.
Con slung his tan knapsack over his left shoulder and took a deep breath. Letting the clean breeze sweep his slightly curly, thick brown thach around in the wind, he sent up a quick prayer that he would get to see this land again. It may not have been his birth land, but was deeply rooted in his heart. Suddenly he stumbled forward as two red-headed blurs streaked into him and he fell to the ground laughing as his two youngest sisters bounced up and down in excitment on him. "Wheer yu goen!" "Whoo's thet lassy thet caim here th othear dee?" "Is she your bonnie?" "are yu getten married?" "Will yu come bak?" "Woah, woah, woah. Slow down you two I can't answer you that fast! Oof, and stop jumping up and down on me you rascals." They scrambled off him and let him rise, while they stared at him with big blue eyes. Clearly waiting impatiently for some answers. Con smiled gentle and knelt gathering them closer, "Don't worry, I definitely will come back and see you as much as I can. And who knows, maybe when your a bit older you can both come visit me in Brixxtton." They both nodded solemnly before scurrying back to Molly, they're mother. Con stood and swallowed the sadness rising in his throat as he gazed upon his special family. They loved him as much as if he wern't adopted. Mam, Da, Lizzy, Merida, Ben, he would miss them. After giving his last hugs he set off towards the train station three miles away that would take him to Dublin. And from there….…Brixxtton.
Well there ya'll go, the first installment. I hope you all like! And a taggy so Sylvania know the next story she will be in. Moar when I can.

Con stretched out in his thinly padded airline seat. He had awoken to the sound of the captain addressing them. "…and thank you for flying with SunDrown airlines. Please buckle your seat belts as I finish the landing approach. This has been Captain Haddock speaking." The PA clicked off after a moment of fuzz and Con reached for his seat belt. Next to him, Lilly reluctantly put down her book and snapped hers into place as well. "Well. Are you nervous?" "That's a gimme." A moment of silence flitted into place, broken only by the noises of the plane and people around them. "What if he doesn't want me as family anymore, or worse blames me." Lilly looked sympathetic, "Neither of those will happen. He spoke of you often and kindly before I met you." She smiled encouragingly, "He'll be thrilled." Con shrugged noncommittally and gazed out the window, hoping she was right. ✤✤✤✤✤✤✤✤✤✤✤✤✤✤✤✤✤✤✤✤✤✤✤✤ A good twenty minutes later he waited next to Lilly, fidgeting, while she stood on tiptoe and tried to catch a glimpse of his brother. "Well, he said he'd get our things from the baggage claim but……..AHH! There he is!" Con jumped in shock when she gave a short scream, then attempted to relax as she began bouncing up and down and waving to be seen above the crowd. Seconds later Nexo appeared fifteen feet away, his eyes met Con's and after a moment of frozen shock he dropped the suitcases and his mouth fell open. Lilly grabbed Con's wrist and dragged him along behind as she fought the crowd to Nexo. "I know I know, I didn't warn you, but.." She grinned, to happy to speak. Turning slightly away she gathered up the luggage to give them a moment. Con started hesitantly unsure of….well anything really. "Hi…..Nathan? It's been a long time…." Nexo grabbed him into a crushing hug and after releasing him ruffled his hair. "Conner, I though I had lost you too! But now." Con looked upon his blood brother, too choked up to continue, and felt the same emotion rising in his chest as well. "I missed you so much!" Nexo gave him another constricting hug before turning to greet Lilly. She ducked into his hug and then began telling him all about Ireland.
