Minutes later they entered the sunny room were their three three downed teammates rested in beds. Except Jay who was sitting in an armchair nearby, she would heal the fastest needing only time to recuperate her energy. Laila was propped up by pillows into a sitting position and looked pretty okay aside from some stitches and a concussion, Landon was standing next to her half leaning against the bed to take the weight off his bulky leg cast but was otherwise was his normal cheerful self. Alex was propped up just a little and smiling wanly. Jay perked up when all the visitors entered, chirped a hello and even stood up and gave hugs out. Laila was mock upset that they hadn’t brought her a piece of cake and was getting back to her fiery self. Alex, on the other hand, was sluggish in response and talked more slowly on account of the meds. After a nice long visit, in which Con was wished happy birthday several times, the healthy members of the gang set out through the HQ once more. Con queried Damian curiously, “Where are we going next?” Damian kept up his brisk walk, “Gonna chat with the Byrds and pick up Elliea, she’s with them.” Con thought for a second, “Is that where Source is too?” Damian made an odd facial expression, “Nobody really keeps track of where he is. Has a habit of slipping away and hiding in far off dark crevices. He’s not here that’s for sure anyways.”

I feel like healthy members is a bit of an exaggeration...more like less-damaged members.
I love how your happy ending still involves three people getting majorly beat up and and everybody almost getting killed. I am in no way half as intense of a writer as you are.
Breakthrough was spectacular. I remember when you started this story, Nexo and me egging you on, and I'm sad that he's not here to see the CONclusion. Of course I remember you CONstantly moving quote chains over to the Paper, Rock, Scissor chatroom. Despite all your hard work, your topic still surpassed BASICS to become the biggest story topic on the MBs. CONgratulations. The pages and pages of chat and story parts attest to the growth this story experienced, the odd CONversations it sparked, and it's constant draw to it's dedicated fan base.
I'm sorry I wasn't around much for the end. My deepest apologies for that.
So yep. That's the nice ending folks. It's really nicely tied up so there could be no third story. Anyway disclaimer time! All people and situations in this story are completely fabricated and all may have been used without the original owner's permission. The views and representations and all content of this story and the comments surrounding are not necessarily the views held by the author, other users or producers. Now with that out of the way time for the cast and crew.
Me too. 3: I guess we're only waiting for Con to finish reading and then I think we can start prep for the third one (since it seems that most people are wanting one).
Okay, I've got a winning strategy on how to get through this. I'm gonna do this first, before anything else, and maybe I'll manage to get caught up in the next hour and a half.
Con, you did it. And yes, it took you almost all of that hour and a half you had allotted.
Ik, dis is lerning meh patience. Heh heh heh......
Tick tock, the clock won't stop. . . 0.0
*grabs all main characters into one bundle and hugs them tightly while casting cold, steely glance in your direction* Don't you dare hurt my lil' cinnamon rolls again. 3:<
Time is going round and round... Oh but me dear....some of them would look so nice with an eye patch and peg leg! >:3

Alex thought he nodded but he couldn’t be sure. Laila was sitting along the wall of the room, she was chewing gum and tipping her chair on two legs and fiddling with her phone. She glance up briefly and then went back to her phone, Alex envied her respite each day. Elliea’s voice called him back again. “Hey, you’re going to need to focus or you’re going to end up getting whacked. I’m turning on the simulator now.” She flicked switches on and gestured for him to enter the room before them. It was a holo room and she had a new challenge for him every day in there. So far he’d aced each one. He went in and shut the door and found himself in a cityscape. More specifically in grubby alleyway, charming. He took one step out into the area in front of the alley and met a car going 70 mph. He jerked and found himself standing in the blank white holo room, heart pounding. Elliea had her hands on her hips and looked have frustrated and half concerned. “What was that!” He shrugged a little, “I dunno, I’m really tired. I didn’t feel anything.” Elliea sighed and looked at him appraisingly for a moment, “Okay. Take the rest of you session with me to rest.” Alex shuffled through a few doors and found a neon lime colored couch. He woke thirty minutes later by Laila shaking him. “Wake up, time for our next class." And so the rat race went on.
That's the end of that version. I bet you can guess which version it was can't you. I won't do the other for a little while, to allow myself to recover. I cried writing this, don't listen to Oogway Ascends while reading. ;.;
I think you ripped out all my heartstrings.
Oh I have succeeded then. It's really a pity that this ending is the only way to have a third one. ;.;
