Mmm, no not really. I think that being in close contact with them and seeing them so much over the years makes it easier for my brain to draw horses. But if I want them to look really good than it's much harder. I think there is really only one or two horse drawings that I'm super proud of. Wbu?
Ooh, right, that must help a ton. :3 I think by this point I've gotten somewhat of a good handle on it. I think my stumbling block is the legs.
Indeed! I like drawing foals a lot. :3 Oh sweet. : D Ahhhh yes...the legs...those are like trying to draw hands but for horse drawings. XPP
I just finished drawing a couple birthday presents for some friends today. And I've been playing around with an idea for a very dark and creepy-looking picture all week. How 'bout you?
Finishing projects is always such a massively good feeling. ^-^ oh indeed? O.o Well since I have little time I've been limiting my drawing times to focus only on your birthday present. After I finish that up then I've been toying with a few things like personifying patience and wisdom(inspired by K66), doing a comic book looking cover(inspired by a random dream), possibly the two sisters from Bun's poem, and two that are just a little dark for this place. I also need to finish one I have of a knight and a girl and color Rose Buddies. I didn't realize until now just how much has stacked up and it's a little overwhelming. O.O
Well, sorry for being two weeks late, but finally, I now present, to my friend RomeNZ , his birthday present!
I seem to have a thing for drawing minifigure group shots like I've been doing every time, so I tried to add something interesting for the background as well as your favorite characters!
Featuring from left to right, The Winter Soldier, Aragorn of Gondor, RomeNZ, Callum of Xadia, and General Kenobi!
Happy Birthday Rome!
Wow, this is amazing! No need to apologise for the timing of it, I'm just happy I got to see more of your awesome art. (^v^) I love how the background sections line up with the characters and their universe! Aragorn, Callum, Bucky & Obi-Wan, all so well done - and then there's me. (*◠ヮ◠*) Thank you!
Thanks Rome! Awesome. I'm happy you love it! The background part was pretty fun to do, and it worked out pretty well even though I did it in PowerPoint. The minifigures were the fun part of it, and designing you and Callum was really fun since they were custom minifigures. You're very welcome!
Thank you so much, Tigress! The figures were so much fun to draw, especially Rome and Callum since they're my own interpretation of them in minifigure form. Callum does look much younger when I drew him for some reason.
Thanks again!
I bet that was a lot of fun! ^v^ It's the eyes, I think. I think Callum's eyes are a little bigger, in a really cute and childlike way.
You're very welcome!
It definitely was. I can see it now. He looked older in my sketchpad, but after I colored him he started looking younger.

Indeed it is. ^v^ Yup. I think I could share it here if I wanted to, it's just going to be pretty creepy-looking; gonna lots of black ink. Goodness, that is a lot! O,O But it sounds like fun. I hope you'll get the time to complete them and have fun with it. Wait, you're making a birthday--? Aww, you shouldn't have. :3
Well here's a drawing I did of some creatures I made up.
They are called pintos, these are called blue pintos because of the blue markings under the eyes, but there are many other breeds too. Their tails, legs and feet are covered in scales while the rest of the body and head are covered in horse-like hair besides the wings which are of course covered in feathers. ( Not all the breeds have wings though. ) They are about the size of a dog and lay eggs in nests to raise their young. Most pintos live in groups made up of family and friends. The groups may vary in size and a group of pintos is called a pod. Pintos mostly eat fruit and the environment they live in varies for different breeds.
I don't know probably because I draw him like how I draw him young first and then added the old features. Thanks! Good, I like to think he'd look more like his father.
When looking too young, just add wrinkles! Yeah--we miss you, Sensei Garmadon. ó.ò

Ohmy gaspness I want some!! :33 Aww, pintos. : D I need to have a family of these. ^.^
Glad you like them! I plan to write an entire book series about them.
