Awesome. I have a "How To Draw Horses" book, and I practiced copying down those elegantly-drawn Clydesdales, Arabians, Quarter horses, and foals over and over again for months, maybe a year.
Ooh cool. : D I have one too but mine doesn't have all those awshem breeds in it. ('.')
Well, sorry for being two weeks late, but finally, I now present, to my friend RomeNZ , his birthday present!
I seem to have a thing for drawing minifigure group shots like I've been doing every time, so I tried to add something interesting for the background as well as your favorite characters!
Featuring from left to right, The Winter Soldier, Aragorn of Gondor, RomeNZ, Callum of Xadia, and General Kenobi!
Happy Birthday Rome!
Sorry to horn in but oh my gasp that's really good! You combined their canon backgrounds and characters so well and had Rome in the center and it just all comes together so well! OvO

Do you find horses hard to draw?
Mmm, no not really. I think that being in close contact with them and seeing them so much over the years makes it easier for my brain to draw horses. But if I want them to look really good than it's much harder. I think there is really only one or two horse drawings that I'm super proud of. Wbu?

oh my bricks

This looks fantastic! trying not to go on and steal the show because this is for Rome XD My gosh, the figures of the characters look so good and the coloring is great! AND LEGO CALLUM IS SO BRICKING CUTE--!!!
Good grief, this is so good. Well done, Zach!!
Thank you so much, Tigress! The figures were so much fun to draw, especially Rome and Callum since they're my own interpretation of them in minifigure form. Callum does look much younger when I drew him for some reason.

That's alright. Thanks Essa! I was quite surprised how well the end result became with all the different characters and locations.
I mean, I'm kicking myself for not getting round to reading your guys' wonderful story, but I have enough info to stick to the characters. And awesome characters they are. :0 I remember the time when this story originated, and applaud you for making full-blown characters out of feelings. That aside, the art is awesome! I've always loved the depth you give to the expressions and poses. So, thank you for gracing my eyes with such art this night.
Oh, wow--Thank you so much, Rome!! High praise indeed! ^,^ I'm so very glad you enjoy the art so much! And thank you for making me smile this morning.
You're welcome! Glad I could bring as much a smile to your face as you did mine. (^‿^)
asdfghj ILOVEIT!!!!! Thank you so much! (^v^) Oh it certainly makes up for it. Come to think of it, I don't think we knew each other so well this time last year. (O,O) Odd thoughts aside, it tells so much, from the pose of me pausing on my journey through the ruins of a medieval countryside in Germany perhaps , to the remarkably detailed background; I love the ruins on the cliff detail, and that grass and ground though. XD The gear too! You awesome-fied my medieval outfit! No worries about the sword, it's something I'd probably wield anyway. I must inquire as to why the file is titled "boop" though.
You're so very welcome! ^v^ That's true. Goodness, how time flies. O.O Perhaaapppss Thank you so much! The details were a challenge yet fun to put together. ^,^ Yes! I think I tried to mix your outfit with Aragorn's gear. Oh nice. xD Oh gosh, I forgot you can see file names--! XD Um, well, we have so much stuff cluttered up on our computer desktop, and it's hassle when I'm ready to upload the file and I have to scroll through a bunch of pictures, files, and memes to get to what I want. It's easier to give the file a name I'll remember and then put it in the search bar so it comes up immediately. "Boop" is an easy word to remember.
(^v^) It's scary.. (O,o) Best not think of it. XD
Heheh You're welcome! Oh nice, I can see some similarities there. An interesting surprise when it came up, but a nice lil' quirky one. O' yeah, I know how that is. XD
Very nice! Not entirely sure what it's of, but the artistry's certainly pleasant to admire. I love the painted style you give it; an effect I hope to achieve with my future pieces.
Thank you! It's an Inkling from the video game Splatoon. Try using one of the paintbrush tools (I used "Fluffy Watercolor") and painting over the lineart. (You may want to use shading as well, however.) I also used the gradient tool on a clipping layer for the hair effect, though you may also do this manually (the mobile game "I Love Hue," and similar color-matching games, may actually help with this a bit ).
You're welcome! *Looks it up* Interesting (in a good way. ) First I've heard of it, but it looks like heaps of fun. =P Oh, I'll give it a go! I only have access to the basic GIMP package and am familiar with its brushes, so I'll look for one similar. (Hmm, thanks for the tip, I'll look into it! So far I've only just been looking at various pieces by other people and breaking them down colour-by-colour, so an interactive step-by-step thing would be a good boost for me. )
