Hi, I've returned to post the promised inking! There's actually a bit of a story behind it. Last night I was bored silly and idly messing around on my phone when I looked up and happened to notice the bright, near-full moon through the window facing my bed. The sky looked kinda...weird. I couldn't see all of it since there's a hillside of gigantic pines blocking most of the sky from my view at the window so I came downstairs and went outside and oh my gosh it was amazing! The sky was so bright! The almost full moon shone above the line of trees, vibrantly glowing against the black woods. The sky just around the moon was an odd red and the all the clouds were black. It looked awesome! So I decided to try inking it with my new ink set. I hope the inking's not too terrible. Anyways, here ya go, RomeNZ and TheFlash213 !
I love it! I especially like that you have little stars throughout, to me that really adds a sense of depth. It's almost like a pool, if you will. The mountain would be like the solid ground and the sky the depths of the pool.
Also what grade paper did you use? I noticed that the art might've been too much for the paper to handle, but then the closest to this I've gotten was watercolor, so maybe the paper's waviness is itself part of this masterpiece, I don't have a sure way of telling.
Thank you!! Ay, yeah I see what you mean. (@bold: pine grove, technically, but who cares about technically. )
Umm... Oh, wait, the "paper" was from a pad of canvas. I used acrylic ink and...some other kind of ink I don't remember. Next time I'll either buy (ha, me, buy something, I'd need money for that =p) some good thick watercolor paper or something thicker to avoid it getting weird and wavy.

Oh wow, that's beautiful! I love the shifting tones of colour the paint gives. :3
Well, Lady Narwhal , I decided to "stop putting it off, woman up and just do it already"; I drew a chibi for the first time in forever @quantumhegdehog, TheGreatCon , TeaLeaf❀ , LolliLordTigressninjagofanmam I thought you might want to see this because its Jenna Autumnfrost/Kendall from Claws of Night.
I haven't read your story yet (sorry! DX), but I know a good piece of art when I see it. That's really good! And cute, too. XD
(That's fine, you don't have too ;3) Thank you! :3 ^v^

This is glorious!!!!! I would love to lay on my back and stare up at that sky at night! : D

Here's a pencil drawing of Zephyr. ( I've drawn her so many times in the last couple years you wouldn't believe it. ) And yes her hair looks kinda white, but it's actually blonde.
Speaking of which yours is coming along nicely. How long to I have to perfect it? : D Oh noice. : D I think Qrow is going to be pretty monochrom though.
: D Ooh, uh.. well it's kinda complicated because I'll be taking a week or so off from about, your Monday/Tuesday? So that leaves a fair while 'til I come back. (^ ^) That's cool, the drawing will be great either way.
It seems tonight is the last night then! D': Yes, indeed it does. I am grateful for your faith in my drawing "skills". XD
Here are some sketches of our hero and heroine. (I don't know why the top and bottom of Joy is cropped.. >.>) ninjagofanmam , I liked your take on what the characters clothes looked like that I decided to use the designs myself. I hope that was OK. If not. . . whoops. o-o
From left to right here we have: Joy dressed up for her part in the play she and Temptation did not plan on participating in (it seemed kind of Shakespearean to me, so I basically made her look like Juliet ); Temptation in his first outfit, hood up and wielding one of his poisonous cookies (don't try to eat them, it won't end well for you); Joy in her regular attire (I kind of like the idea of her having mismatched clothing plus boots and a chainmail shirt that don't fit very well, since she basically ran away from a pampered lifestyle and had to use whatever clothes she could get her hands on to blend in--also, am I the only one who's only recently realized that her outfit looks a lot like my avatar? xD); And finally Temptation in his more recent attire. (I wish I had drawn him smiling instead. He frowns too much. ) Oh wait, I found a smiling one!
I have one more picture, but perhaps I'll save that for the conclusion of the story.
OK, I'm done now. Have a great day.
Of course I want to see some!! THey are spectacular! : D I love the coloring on them!
(Chibi eyes are so hard. ) Do you usually draw on tablet/computer or just plain paper?
(They are indeed. I've started a new chibi drawing earlier; I have yet to finish the eyes without screeching in rage and ripping it up. ) Usually just a good ol' piece of paper but occasionally I'll finish stuff up on my phone or computer with Sketchbook. You?
(Oh goodness. ) I've always drawn on paper, but then Mock got me a drawing tablet for Christmas, so I tried to draw on the tablet, but I just can't. THE STUPID PEN KEEPS DRAWING EVEN AFTER I'VE LIFTED IT FROM THE TABLET! LIKE, WHAT THE HECK, PEN?! ( ) So I just draw on paper now.
This is so awesome Tigress! I'm speechless, and love it! The style and clothing is absolutely perfect! Love that second picture of Joy and Temptation looking at each other!
I love how you drew Temptation holding the cookie as it he was offering it, as well as the dark clothes and the robe. I did also notice that Joy shares the same colors and outfit as you, Tigress.
That last picture of smiling Temptation looks like when he did his face reveal.
Awesome job! I'll be thinking about these drawings for a long time! Thank you so much for sharing, Tigress!
*suppresses squeal of distinct girliness* Thank you so much, Zach! I'm so glad you like these so much! I had a lot of fun imagining what our characters would look like and creating these. And you're very welcome! ^v^
Lol. You're welcome! They're awesome! I love your interpretation of them, and I can totally imagine our story with them.

AAAAh I LOVE THEM!!! ^v^ They look so cool! I'd noticed that Joy as dressed like your avatar and it seems kinda fitting, I like it. Ooh, cloaked, cowled & cookie-wielding Temptation, nice! Joy's costume, nice too. What time period is ToD supposed to take place (even if its in a fantasy realm)? Aw, smiling Temptation is so...well, cute. Yeah, he looks so kind and nice. Awesome drawings, Tigress! Great job!
@bold: Oh, he and I would get along great. I really need to practice smiling more. xD
Thank you so much!! I think Zach and I decided it took place in some traditional Medieval Europe world, when there were still knights and un-ruined castles. --But with cookies and hamburgers. Aw, I'm glad I was able to capture that. ^v^ Thanks!
