I think I'm getting better at drawing fluid poses and character designs, which makes me extremely happy. >w< I'm getting far away from same-face-syndrome, and I'm learning frame-by-frame animation. I bring my sketches to class and work on animations late at night after my roommate's fallen asleep, because I want to get better and make something worthwhile.

Oh nice!! Sounds like awesome progress ^_^
Some of that stuff I definitely want to work on too, especially the fluid poses, I feel like some of my art is a bit too stiff-looking xD

Thanks! I'm honestly.., kinda proud of myself. (^//^) Felt that xD What helped me, surprisingly, was finding old sketches by Disney animators and copying those until fluid poses started to become integrated into my muscle memory. In my sketch books I have pages and pages of just imitations of Disney character sketches doing all sorts of poses and facial expressions, and it's helped a lot. Say what you like about Disney but they know character design.

Sounds like a great idea honestly. I love looking through Disney "Art of" books and looking at the sketches and designs xD

Me too! It's so cool to see the slightly different versions of the stories and characters that we might have seen, and a lot of the concept art can be gorgeous. (^w^) Have you seen a lot of those memes showing the concept art for "Wish" and people being like "why did Disney do THIS??"

Yeah, it definitely looks like they should have gone with some of those concepts. Like usually you're not supposed to be looking at the old concepts and think "This is so much better than what they put out"
I haven't seen the movie yet (Waiting until it's on streaming) but I'm suspecting it's going to very "ok". Like not good or terrible and just ok. And it probably could have been good or at least better if they had gone with the concepts they had xDD
