Challenge accepted auroramay . Unfortunately, I honestly couldn’t find any of my stuff from more than a year ago (moved house recently) so the two on the left are from the last 12 months. I decided to compare my work from back then to some current sketches that I’m working on (so their not done yet =P) to show how far you can actually go if you if you dedicate time and effort.
There should totally be a sister topic to this where you can commission the artists of the MBs (free of charge of course) to make you a piece of art. Artists could post a bio and maybe a sample of their art so users could get a feel for what they’ll get from the artist. I might be thinking a bit too big but I think it’s a pretty cool idea. =P
I absolutely love stories and memories told through silent pictures. These--all of these--have got to be one of my all-time favorites. Brilliant art style and skills aside, I- just-- X3
I've been going through a rough time for the past few months. Thanks for reminding me why I didn't give up.
I haven't posted any art in a while, and I have been very busy on LEGO art lately, actually, so here's a little. The first is a mechanical and colored pencil drawing scanned in, the second is a digital reproduction done over the first in Photoshop.
"Do you wanna build some LEGOOOO?"
Also that's awesome, I like the snowflake especially. OvO
You're welcome! Yes but even your FISTS are so nicely shaped! Mine look like mutated lumps caused by radioactive energy.
Pfft, from what I've seen, your hands are pretty good. But thank you! x3 Glad to know me staring at my fists for 30 minutes trying to figure out if I am drawing them right is working. xD (I actually do that everytime, so I mean, it might help you if you wanted to try. )
Liar I mean thank you. You're welcome! Looks like it paid off, for sure. xD (Hm, good tip. Thanks! )
Hmm TheFlash213 said something about old art and got me thinking! SO I CHALLENGE YOU ALL: Post one piece of old art. (At least... 2 years old let's say.) Either you all are gonna ignore this post, or you'll rise to the task. We'll see.
ACK! Um, uh, oh gosh... umm... what's in it for me?
