Yes, I use Stud.io, It has a few mild restrictions, but at least it's up-to-date.

Yeah, it annoyed some people, but it's technically legal is Blender is under GNU Public License. It's more just about being a nice person and crediting the original creators.

Ahh, I see. Yes, I think LEGO owns BrickLink, which is part of Stud.Io, so maybe they will credit them now, although I find it highly unlikely.
