Yes, I was saying Bangarang was a good impression of Skrillex.
"Where Are Ü Now" isn't necessarily a bad song, but if you're talking in terms of examples of Skrillex, no, "Where Are Ü Now" sounds nothing like him. I guess it helped it was a collaboration with Diplo and Justin Bieber while simultaneously aiming for the radio.
So Where are U Now is more like a Diplo song? I think Bangarang was a radio song too but I'm not entirely sure.
I haven't heard much of either artists, but I think it was a combination of both of them trying to get a mainstream radio hit. It could very well be a decent part of Skrillex's style, but we wouldn't know because he rarely leaves dubstep. Short answer - I think it's still more of a collab but I'm not sure.
I usually like to play some Jazz and Rock on the piano, or something with a bit an upbeat tune.
I haven't heard a contra-bassoon before, nor have I seen anyone ever play one before. I've heard of it before, though.
ELO could be called a classic band from the 70s (interestingly enough, the original concept was to mix rock and roll instruments with more classical strings instruments).
Interesting. Any favorite jazz and rock pieces?
I meant to say that those two instruments were my favorite wind instruments.
I've always appreciated the contra-bassoon since Gustav Mahler's 9th Symphony. It has a very deep and complex sound. It really catches the ear and reminds me much of a bass clarinet but with a more sorrowful sound.
Can't say that classic-rock is my forte. I do dabble in post-rock/ambient-shoegaze stuff. Hammock is often on my mind and in my heart musically speaking.
Most of the pieces I play on Piano that are rock or jazz aren't very well known, but I guess my favourite is one called "Rock Zone" (probably haven't heard of it).
Hm, sounds interesting, I haven't heard much shoe gaze stuff.
My first two modern pop songs that really got me into the genre (because I had listened to and liked so many others but never got into pop too much) were Capital Cities’ “Safe and Sound” and OneRepublic’s “Counting Stars.”
Were those out at the same time? I know 'em both, I just have no clue how old either of them is.

Ah, cool. I wonder if more artists will collab like that too...

There have been a good few collaborations this year; I wouldn't be surprised.
