Hello sir, you are welCON here. What's your opinion on rap, disregarding bad language?
*error, error*
I am without opinion upon the subject of rap music, as I have not collected sufficient data or musical exposure to the genre to establish an opinion and I can only offer a humble vindication of my ignorance by writing this reply.
In other words I don't listen to it.
Well, if you ever sample it, try NF. I'm pretty sheltered on that genre as well, I listen to mostly obscure Christian rappers.
It takes like half an hour to get to the lyrics though.
MAYDAY, or Fly Away. Have you seen his live-remixing video? He's amazing!
That's how it works, I guess. It's impossible for us to grasp more than a couple artists full repertoire, so we just pick a few of their best to recognize.
They're a bit slow...
Haven't tried that one.
You and the rest of the world. *rolls eyes* I'm the type of guy who just goes ahead and does it now, it makes life simpler.
If even that.
You mean the EDM-video game music one? Yeah, he's great! Hopefully he'll get popular enough to do more live shows.
Yeah, I guess that makes sense; sometimes it's just painful as the fanboy when there's so much other good stuff. Eh, as you said, not everyone can know 'em all.
Yeah, both in BPM rate and how they move up the charts.
It's pretty fun.
Yeah, that's probably the better decision. I always fully intend to and fully forget to. (I did actually do it, though.)
*CONes to realization* Does that song even have lyrics?
Yep, that one! He should turn that into an 8-minute track. I'd love to see one of his!
It CON be, but hey, I'm always just happy if people know the band, much less their more obscure songs.

NF, that's it? The whole name?
My sister likes to (I think its partly from irony) to Toby Mac, but I think that's more of hip hop.
I once heard part of a certain to-be-unnamed rapper and appreciated a rather unique beat, made the poor choice and looked it up... -_- [derp]
I really don't have must taste for music with lyrics.
Although there are memes.... globglogabgalab is best rapper :)

It's Nathan Feuerstein's initials, he uses it as his stage name. ;) :P
Tobymac does a track with NF. :P And yeah, Tobymac is a great artist. :D
I prefer mine with lyrics. I do listen to some lyric-less electro, though.
I looked him up on google and youtube and quickly discovered that those are certainly his initials. It just seemed a rather simple name for an artist, but again my commentary comes from a stance of not knowing much about rap. As far as electro goes, you can't beat Glitch Mob's "Drink the Sea", and as an ambient fan, electro often crosses the genre, so I'm certainly familiar with lyric-less electro music.

It is, but it works for him.
I tried to look that up and try it, but my YouTube is acting super funny, and refused to load it.

Hmm, you're really missing out (or making a lame excuse :P) on a somewhat hidden gem.
So, tell me a little more about rap. Why rap, what first attracted you to it? Do you listen to it mostly in passive or active ways?
