I guess. I don't entirely know if Disney being the Distributor counts as Disney. Anyways, The Studio Ghibli movies are pretty fun and I grew up watching them. I've never seen any of those movies, but I've heard a little bit about them. They've always looked intriguing to me. Interesting. A good movie I recommend is called "Kiki's Delivery Service", if you're interested in watching them.

I don't know that I've ever heard of those, actually. But if they're associated with Disney, you can talk about them if you want. I guess. I don't entirely know if Disney being the Distributor counts as Disney. Anyways, The Studio Ghibli movies are pretty fun and I grew up watching them. It probably doesn't, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. That's cool; I don't think I'd ever heard of them before you mentioned them. So are they like, in Japanese, or what?

They are originally in Japanese, but they also have versions with English voice actors.

*makes mental note to add this movie to our Netflix queue*
*restrains from saying name of Lego Ninjago princess* Elsa. I can relate to her a lot. I think Bell would come second on my list because she was my favorite for so long, and she holds some nostalgia for me. If you could go to the prom wearing any Disney princess gown, which one would you wear?

Yeah, Elsa is another one of my favorites, and Belle is very cool also.
Ooooh, nice question. Well, I can picture myself wearing so many of the princesses' casual dresses (Belle's blue dress, Rapunzel's dress, etc.) but those aren't fancy enough for a prom. So, I'd say Aurora's pink gown.
Edit: I just remembered!! You know after they redesigned all the princesses -- in 2012, I think it was? -- well, anyway, I love Ariel's new dress. It's like a sea foam green color, off-the-shoulder, with seashell and starfish designs along the skirt... That one's really pretty and would probably be my actual choice.
If you had to have one of the Disney villains as your boss, who would you choose to work for?

If you had to have one of the Disney villains as your boss, who would you choose to work for? I think another reason I like Elsa is because her character and story destroyed the traditional Disney Princess formula.
I love Ariel's new dress, too!! It matches her hair and eyes so much better than the pink one, as lovely as that one had been. I'm torn between Merida's (does she count? ), Bell's, and Elsa's dresses. Bell's yellow ball gown would probably match me so much better, but it's just so big. . . Gah, for a fancy prom, either Bell's or Elsa's.
Ooh, I like this question. Probably Scar -- he might appreciate a henchman who could actually do the job he assigned them to do.

I'm sure he would. I'm tempted to say him as well, because he's my favorite villain, but I'm not sure who I would choose actually. Does working for Scar mean you have to be turned into a hyena? Yzma seems like a pretty interesting person to work for.

Yeah! Why thank you. Pretty gorgeous, that is.
Probably, unless he would like a lioness to work for him, in which case I'd be happy to become one. She was actually going to be my next choice! I mean, she's got this high-and-mighty attitude that would probably be a pain in the tushie to work with, but still. . . how many villains with polite temperaments can you get?

(No worries, I do that all the time. )
Oooh, that sounds interesting, how does it go? (If you don't mind telling, of course. ) Recently I have, actually, I started getting into it sometime last summer I think. I've written/am writing: a giant Disney one that incorporates a ton of different movies, a Fox and the Hound one with my best friend, a 100-page Lion King one, and several one-shot TLK fics. If you can't tell I have a bit of an obsession.
Very true. It's good for us that their henchmen always fail, but not so much for the villains.
Probably so, yeah. I was actually discussing some princess theories with some girls on my drill team yesterday, a lot of which were about Frozen.
Ooh, if we're going outside the official princesses, Meg is my least favorite too. I think you summed it up nicely. xD Another thing that bugs me is that people seem to think she's the only "strong female character" Disney has created outside of the official princesses. Hello? All the people I just mentioned...?
Kida is a queen, yes. Actually, they should make a subcategory for the queens and put Kida, Nala and Elsa in it. Oh, I've heard that one too -- I was originally against it but I guess it would be kind of cool. Yeah, that would be like, every movie ever...
If I'm correct, they redesigned some of their hairstyles and made their dresses more sparkly, right? I like it, since they didn't change their original design too much. The most changed was probably Ariel, and I do like her new gown -- but now I'm confused which dress I should normally picture her in. What do you think of it? (*Phew!* ) Well generally, it's about Hans' revenge (surprise surprise ), in a nutshell consisting of Elsa's new free life being threatened by the presence of a newcomer being framed for crimes against the monarchy (which Hans is responsible for), leading to an adventure when Elsa shows mercy on the wrongly imprisoned criminal... What do you think? Wow, awesome! Is it like a mashup of Disney universes? They should really have a villain meet where they discuss their plans and make one that works.
Cool. I take it you know about the Frozen/Tarzan theory?
Heh, yeah. I knooooowwww! Everyone says that [INSERT PRINCESS HERE] is the only strong independent female character when actually, heroines like Esmerelda were kickin' it back in '96. Oh yeah, forgot about the Queens for a sec... heheh... Well technically speaking since she has Beast's Adam's & Belle's formerly enchanted tea set.
Yeah, come to think of it. I don't pay attention to the hair as much as the girl's would. But yeah, more sparkly - like a girl who put on too much makeup. I mean, some of the redesigns look good, but I'm a stickler for originals... Great, now I'm conflicted.

Probably, in which case I'd be happy to as well...though on second thought, all things considered...probably wouldn't want to. Just...ehhh. Yeah, I mean, she's rather rude and snippety, but she still seems tolerable compared to some of the others.
If you could live in the world of one Disney movie (kingdom, city, etc.), what world would you choose?

I mean, some of the redesigns look good, but I'm a stickler for originals... Great, now I'm conflicted. That sounds really cool! I like the idea of Elsa having struggles with her new life; she probably faces a lot of new challenges as the queen and still has some emotional stress from her past. You should write it down sometime. You could call it "Frozen 2: Hans' Revenge", that sounds super ominous.
Yeah, basically; I try to include as many as I can. The main ones incorporated are UP, Beauty and the Beast, Sleeping Beauty, The Lion King, Tangled, and Alice in Wonderland....but then there's a bunch of others thrown in, like The Jungle Book, The Princess and the Frog, Moana to name a few.
Yes! Though they have so many different enemies, I don't know who they'd plot it against. I really like seeing fanart of all the villains together; have you ever seen drawings like that?
Yeah. That one's interesting, even though I don't really believe it...too many plot holes.
Exactly! Esmeralda is a million times better than Meg and everyone just forgets about her. It annoys me, too, when people don't count the animal characters in their lineups and such. This is Disney, guys; talking animals and people are basically the same thing.
Well, there's not that many. Yeah, it's probably possible. I usually tend to take Easter eggs just for what they are, and don't try to make a theory about them -- but I do enjoy hearing them and connecting the movies in various ways, so, I guess I'm on the fence.
Right. xD Yeah, I'm the same way...I like the redesigns because they're brighter and more glittery (BRING ON THE GLITTER ) but the originals are just so classic.
