So, I leave here for TWO days and I come back and find this. People, FRIENDS, shredding each other! Over what…..Mega Blocks and Legos. I have memories of a great community, but as I've seen twice in a short amount of time, a disagreement has everyone at each others throats! I'm not going to make a decision on whether or not I'm staying or whether or not Mega blocks is better than Lego. But I DO know that we should ALL be ashamed if we participate in pulling each other apart over a difference of opinion. I'm not trying to start more fights or pick on anyone, but I am pleading for some one….anyone, to show some maturity and commen sense. Please guys. I'm literaly crushed to see what's supposed to be a close knit community turn to the user next to them and throw around hurtful and demeaning words. Like I said, I understand that no ones perfect and I'm not expecting it! But I definitely DID expect people to have some commen courtesy, empathy, and compassion. I'm not perfect, far from it. And I'm not trying to preach, I've made loads of mistakes in life. But I believed….REALLY believed that I had found a chat place that was above the rest, safe, and close. The knowledge that people are willing to rip others apart over this honestly makes me consider leaving more than Mega blocks EVER could. I know I'll probably recieve a ton of hate for this, and the mods may even censor me. But I'm not posting for a cause, except the cause that we act decent. Like I said before, I'm not taking sides at this point of time, or trying to pick on any one, but I need to say what I'm feeling. Which is sorrow and frustration and disgust. Say what you will to this, and mods do what you want, but I need to say what my heart tells me.
I can understand how that would be frustrating, but everyone's simply messing around for April Fools. Nobody truly has hard feelings.
Of course, you may already know that and are simply doing your own joke, but I prefer to play safe.
I had considered that it was all a joke. This whole changing the boards thing. But I'm actually addressing the issue that some users are saying hurtful and slanderous things. That's taking a joke way to far. You can never take back words. Besides, this is the second time we have stood divided, it makes me feel uncertain. But thank you for responding, and sharing your thoughts in a non hateful way, it means a lot.

{JAMMERS! -Essa- ONLY!} I can say that a few other users have been bothered by events today, such as Ciblast, who's taking a week long break from the boards as a result, and myself. (I was bothered by some of the statements and jokes.) I might take a slow down myself for a bit, and see how this all rolls out in a week and stay active in only the Sig-Fig Mystery game and my attorney office for my dupe.
i'm assuming you're just really late to the april fools' party, but in the case you thought people were actually fighting, let me confirm that everything today was a joke. if you were hurt by the things you saw me say, please go back and look at them again; they were all "secretly" jammers that stated my support for the "resistance" within. which, in itself, was part of the joke. everyone here needs to learn that everything on the internet is a joke on april fools' day.

Many were made in a joking manner toward other members as part of an April Fool's joke and we aren't aware of anybody personally being hurt by the comments. No, I had an idea that it was all a joke, but after the other time when the mods had a problem, seeing convos that crossed the thin line between joke and rude was unnerving. I was not trying to blame to anyone directly, or call any one out. I just wanted people to be aware that people have long memories. And people tend to remember negative things and not positive. (for some reason I'm not sure why it works that way but it's true) I'm glad you were just joking and are not really being mean. Also thank you for responding the way you did.

No problem, I am not permanently scared for life. I was only emoting my gut reaction, which I admit could have been a bit strong since last time I went away and came back the entire place was in a REAL upheaval. I guess I really just want to raise awareness that there is a line between a joke and meanness. Thank you for addressing this and I assure you I'm not angry or permanently miffed.
