Lol. Yeah, that's one thing I don't want to wake up to in the morning.
Yeah. Ah, I see. That makes sense. Is there something you wish you had a gluten free version of, but it doesn't actually exist?
UUGGGHHHHOKWELLTIMETOTALKABOUTSOMETHINGELSE and how are you this lovely night, dear sir? :3 (I assume it's night by the time you get to this post. )
Eclairs. They should make gluten-free eclairs. I mean, obviously they wouldn't be as good as the real thing the French have, but still, it's worth a try. . . *prepares to ask you the same question* *remembers you're not gluten-free* What's your favorite. . . Asian dish?
LOL. I'm doing well. Just about to go to sleep soon. (Yep, it's already nighttime. )
Ooh, that would be delicious. I'm sure someone's attempted a gluten-free elcair recipe before.
Hehe, that's alright. My favorite asian dish would be something called Dim Sum. I don't know if you've heard of that before.

Does "LOL" instead of "lol" mean I made you laugh harder than usual? Frankly, I'm surprised you're still awake.
Probably. Maybe I should ask Mock to try making gluten-free eclairs sometime.

Dim Sum? No, never heard of it. . . What's that?
Pretty much. That was quite a surprise. Yeah, it's one of those nights again.
That would be good. Does he know how to make eclairs?
It's a range of dishes/snacks that usually go along with tea, but it then became a full meal. There's a variety of dishes like shrimp dumplings, BBQ pork buns, sticky rice with pork, egg tarts, sponge cake, and plenty of others.

I am pleased with myself. ^,^ It's nice running into you like this.
Nope. This could be his toughest challenge yet.
Ooh. . . those all sound so good. Great, now I'm craving Thailand food or something, the BBQ pork buns made me think of something I like to eat. XD

Hehe. Good job. I'll admit, you do make my late-nights worth staying up.
I'm sure it's a pretty technical and detailed dish, but he might be up for it.
They're very delicious. I've been having Dim Sum ever since I was 6 or something like that. Thai food is pretty good too. Do you have a favorite Thai dish?

Make me SUM of DIM goodies! Ahahahahahaha. Phew! Never gets old!
Bumping this thread because I have a story to tell.
So, Tuesday afternoon while my parents were at work, I noticed my cat pawing at the door -- nothing unusual. But when I looked outside, I noticed this little furry shape lying in the sun on the back of the grill, and it didn't take long for me to realize it was a BABY SQUIRREL. OwO
When my mom got home, we started trying to figure out what to do with him. He looked about six weeks old, too young to be away from his mother, so we were planning to locate the nest and leave him somewhere nearby for her to find him. But before we could, we heard this chirping noise from the front yard, which we realized was a squirrel calling. When my mom took the baby outside, there was another one just his size in the bottom of the tree out front. Obviously, she put two and two together, and put him in the tree with his brother hoping they would climb back to their nest or the mother would come get them.
Except they didn't. We watched from inside for almost an hour, but the mom would never come down to get them, just call for them. And it didn't help matters that the babies kept jumping down from the tree and trying to bolt across the yard. XD Eventually, we went back out to try to prompt them to climb up, but they just weren't having it. We gave them some pieces of apple and banana and sat outside with them a while, but when we tried again to get them to climb, they had tired themselves out so much that they kept teetering off the tree and we had to hold them up. XD Sooo, seeing that we were getting nowhere, we took them inside in a box and put them in the bathtub for a bit to let them nap.
Once my dad got home, we tried putting the box up in the tree to leave them alone for the night, in the hope they'd eventually crawl out or their mother would come retrieve them overnight. While we were doing this, another baby squirrel suddenly came falling through the branches, and got tangled in some vines near my dad. So now there were three.
So we left them in the box, snuggled in an old T-shirt, and left some banana in case they got hungry. Then we went inside, planning to check on them the next day...
Unfortunately, when my mom checked the box on Wednesday, all three babies were still inside. Now, whether the mom had lost or abandoned them, or whether she'd visited the box overnight and fed them, we weren't sure. But of course the immediate reaction was "aAAH tHeY'RE sTILL hERE OAO" so we quickly took them inside to try to feed them.
All three squirrels were alive, though much more drowsy than they had been the day before. They perked up a bit when we got them to drink some sugar water, though they mostly refused the puppy milk we offered. However, the way they had eagerly taken the water gave us the answer we needed: their mom hadn't come back to feed them, we hadn't heard her calling at all that day, and we had to assume she wasn't coming back.
So, throughout the past two days, we've given them what sugar water they'll take, as well as some grapes which they really enjoy to the point of wrestling over. We should be getting some squirrel milk by early next week, so hopefully they'll take that more easily than they will the puppy milk. squirrel milk yeah I didn't know that was a thing either
So yes, we have three baby squirrels sleeping in our bathtub at the moment. They're adorable, to put it lightly. We've been trying to come up with names for them -- personally my favorite set is Chip, N, and Dale, but that's just me
Anyhoo, I thought this might be a worthwhile story for this thread.

Whaaaaaaat. That's amazing!! Those poor babies. . . good thing you're taking care of them! I hope they'll continue to survive and be happy with you and your family! How long have they been with you now? :3
Wow, that just gave me a flashback. . . several years ago, when we lived in the US, I remember someone finding a tiny baby squirrel abandoned at the foot of a tree by a playground we kids had been playing at. . . My mom took in the baby and tried to warm it up in the bathroom with warm lights and towels, because it had spent the night lying in the cold wet grass and was lethargic and cold. Unfortunately, it died within hours of us bringing it home. We buried it in a field outside our backyard and set up a little gravestone for it. At least it died peacefully... ^-^
I hope these three babies of yours sound promising. I hope they'll continue to survive happily.

Wow! You're really good at taking care of animals. I'm sure those squirrels enjoy having you taking care of them, as well as being around your home. I like the Chip, N, Dale names. Very clever.
So after having the baby squirrels a few more days and getting to know them, I think I should post proper bios of them all. XD
N is the most gentle. He's been good at taking milk from the start, he generally doesn't try to climb up your arm while you're feeding him, and whenever we take him outside he's usually more interested in the snacks we put in their box than he is in bolting away, like the others. He also likes to snuggle against you more than the others, and even fell asleep in my arms once.
Chip is very rowdy, probably the most -- dare I say vicious of them all? XD -- he loves bananas, grapes, avocados, and will fight anyone who tries to take them from him. More often he's trying to steal some from his brothers He also loves to climb onto my mom's back while she's refilling the syringe with milk, and try to stay out of her reach as long as possible. xD
Dale is also rowdy, but less feisty than Chip. He loves exploring outside more than anyone else, and especially loves making a break for the car whenever we're not looking. YOU MUST ALWAYS BE LOOKING He loves to climb, whether it's on a log, a pile of bricks, or up someone's leg. Also, if you give him a banana slice, note that he will work wonders in pulverizing and attempting to swim in it.
And yeah, also, today was my first time feeding them...by myself, no less. XD It went pretty well. I got them all to eat about their usual feeding, gave them each an avocado slice, and they all eventually snuggled back down to sleep afterwards.
It was an interesting 30 minutes. I had milk splattered all over my arms, little squirrels clawing at my hands, and I...basically...loved it.
