Lol same. XD My bro owns an Appy! : D Leopard or blanket spots? Lol, I feel like english saddles might be harder to stay in after sitting deep in western ones so long. Still awesome though! I would like to try different areas of skill sets other than pleasure but I don't know if I have the right horse for that. XD
Exactly. I found that (for me at least) halter, color and showmanship were low key enough and simple enough for fun. : D Yea. ( ..) I gotten to visit her a few times though. :3 Hopefully. As soon as we choose a home to get back too.
In a bratty horse way, yes! :3 Very true, and I was rewarded with her becoming pretty much a one person horse.
Aw, sweet! I don't care, they're both so darn cute! xD
Yeah, one does need strong thighs to stay in the saddle, though personally I prefer it, because it gives me more room to wiggle around, and because some of the dressage exercises we do can't cooperate with a big honking saddle horn poking our bellies. Same here -- well, I guess I'm learning different things anyway, but I'm not sure if I ever learned to ride western properly.
Brick, you've been in shows and competitions like that? Wow. How many have you done? Hopefully soon. :3 Ah, I see -- are you in the middle of moving or something?
Gotta love bratty horses. xD Aww, that's awesome. You two must make a pretty great team.
Yea! :3 Lol, Appys are like a party in a horse skin to me. XD I can't understand why some people hate them.
True, yeah, horn hornless they each are specific to the jobs preformed in the saddle. I like to sit pretty deep in the saddle, for balance in case of any "surprises" the horse decides to preform. XD We could trade knowlege one day then.
Some yea. A few I think…..anywhere from five to eight shows. Yas! :3 We've been in one long move for two years in January.
Some of them. XD Yes. I don't really have the words. XD

What. Why would people hate Appys??
Yup. That makes sense. For me, sitting in a shallow saddle just encourages me to do what the instructor says and hold tight with my legs -- especially when we're galloping. Yeah!
That's pretty cool. How does that work, may I ask? Do these events turn up every few months and you apply your horse, are you part of some sort of club, or. . . ? Oh, wow. . . xD I've moved plenty of times in my life, but never have our moves been longer than three months. Sometimes there are no words.

They are prejudicial and small minded? Idk, where I am they all think paints are better. Some of the unfairness that has taken place is outstanding.
Lol. Nothing like abject fear to give you a muscle boost. XD *sighs* Soon enough, soon enough.
Yeah. Well, as far as I'm aware horse shows are scheduled, you pick one you want. Then you pay some fees and register and pay for the classes you want to enter. You can join clubs and such and I'm sure they have pros and cons to joining I just never really did I don't think. The actual showing is an experience. XD
You've prob moved more that me, but yeah. Just waitin for the right place. And that's alright.

*despairing sigh* People.
Yup. If I've heard correctly, you and Con want to fly over to New Zealand to pay Rome a visit one day?
Hm, cool. You enjoy the showings, then?
You all finding a place to settle for good, or just to crash for a few years?

Ik. XD
I snitched the idea from you actually, saw you planning with Rome for us all to fly over, I just let Con in on the loop.
Indeed. : D Somewhat. The aforementioned classes are my favorite. Anything more is too stressful for multipul reasons.
Hopefully to settle for good, but ya never know what unseen thing will take place.
Oh awesome. XD We should fly together; you two stop by Germany to pick me up, and we'll all go down to NZ like a band of buddies!
Makes sense. I'm afraid if I ever learned how to do showings and enter one, I'd be so stressed it'd take all the fun out of it.
Yeah, life can be pretty unpredictable.
Yes. XD YAY!!! I think that would prob be how it really worked. Con's the easiest to find of you all.
We could try one and see how it goes, if you like. Idk how bad your anxiety is.
*frowns at life* Yo, life, lay off will ya.
Yeah, at least you two are on the same continent.
I'd have to be pretty confidant and practiced in prancing my noble steed around like a bricking supermodel before venturing out to humiliate myself. Although, if I decide that I really don't care about the show and what people think of my score or whatever, chances are I'll be "meh".

You are not welcome here, Life.
How long has your love for horses endured?
We're like a state away. XD But my state is big enough that it's really more like two or so.
Lol, that's why we would do something like halter and color, where they're mostly judging the animal. XD It's less competitive on the ground and all you have to do is, look good and stand right. That's a good plan. It's easy to practise for ground classes and way lower stress. XD
BEGONE! *flips table*
Long time. I started young then had to relearn a bunch of stuff. I've been riding more that 10 years now as well as I can tell.
I know you said you don't know what breed your horse is, can you post a pic? : D

Nice.
"Look good and stand right", sounds simple. --but is it easy?? o.o
*gets squished beneath table* Um, OW.
That is very impressive to me -- but then, it's harder to continue one's riding education at a steady pace when one is moving overseas every three years.
Hmm, maybe. . . You'll have to let me wait until this Friday class when I can sneak bring in the camera and snap and quick pic.
