I was thinking. If you're looking for more options on how to get involved with projects on helping animals, you could look into getting schools' cross country running teams to work with shelter dogs! Just an idea. : )
Small New Mexico towns were convinced to do this. We keep adding members to the team.
Awesome!! I heard about it on the radio and was super hyped. I have a special tenderness for shelter dogs. :3
I ride, been doing it for years, though my training's been a little scattered over time. You?
Oooo, how long in general? English or western? Ever competed at all? (<is hyper )
Both. I have an appendix mare named Bonnie. :3 I've ridden and worked with them for a while now, and love it.
(No worries, I'z is cool with hyper. ) Mm, by now, six years in total. If I recall correctly, I started off doing a haphazard mixture of western and english, learning the basics of riding in the States alongside children with physical handicaps. Now in Germany, I ride dressage alongside German girls. We don't really do much, depending on the trainer we have, but we're slowly sharpening our skills as riders. I've never competed in any horseback-related activity in my life; sadly, my riding life has been restricted only to the few days we drive to the barn to have our lesson. I wish I could spend more time with horses and just have them in my life constantly. :/ Oh, no way! How fun! What's she like? I've only ever ridden horses with a snarky attitude and a wry sense of humor.

(YAY! XD) Wow awesome! Favorite breed(s)? Ah hah. : D Western for me. Never got a chance at english but I would prob give it a fair try. Okay, now, dressage is hard. XD I respect that skill.
That makes sense. You being an introvert it might be better to avoid the highly competitive areas of horse world. *sighs* don't we all wish more time with horses. I can feel you're longing as currently I'm seperated from my horse by about 15 hours. 3:
Indeed! And lots of responsibility. XD A snarky attitude with a wry sense of humor. XD XD She pretends she hates the world (cause she had a bit of a rough start) but sometimes she forgets and I can see the neediness. : )
