They are basically LEGO display figurines based off certain characters. It is a theme on the official LEGO Shop website. Look it up.  Hm. Sounds useless.  It is actually fun building them. You could probably make your own though...

Cheap? £10 for a boring looking figure of a movie character that I can’t even pose?  They are cool though and better than those action figure looking things that Star Wars has which is based off Hero Factory/Bionicle... I much prefer something posable and playable...

It is based on the LEGO Brickheadz line by LEGO. I own the Ironman Brickheadz myself. The sets are really cheap too, around £9.99 or $14.99 (US) Cheap? £10 for a boring looking figure of a movie character that I can’t even pose?  No offense, but have to agree with ciblast on that.
