A group of sentinels emerge from the fortress and go to meet the Scorpion. "Who goes there? State your name and business!"
IC: "Scodrick.. TheicebearssentmetoaskwhatthestatusoftheicetribeswasandIbarelygothereandpleasedontsmashme!" *The sentinels are left to look at each other while the scorpion catches his breath, not understanding what he just blurted out.* =P
The Sabretooths are rather confused by this outburst. Luckily for Scodrick, one of them managed to make out the words "Ice bears", so they decide not to freeze him just yet, and invite him inside to see the King instead.

OOC: Scodrick is lucky. =P
IC: *He follows.*
IC: He is taken to the Throne Room, which is now empty apart from a few guards and King Finglor, who is sat on his throne.
"Your Majesty," calls the guard leading Scodrick. "We found this scorpion outside. He claims to have come from the Ice Bears."
The King sits up straighter, evidently interested. "You may approach, scorpion. Who are you, and why have you come?"

"Welcome to my hall, Scodrick."
Finglor looks pensively at the scorpion, formulating his reply.
"As you can see, the Sabretoothes have risen again after a period of chaos and disarray. Order has been restored, though it may be some weeks before we are ready to march. But I am interested by the state of the Ice Bears...I have much to attend to, but I shall send my lady wife, the Queen, and a small delegation to accompany you back to the Bear encampment on the morrow and discuss our mutual interests with your leaders. Today, you will be housed and fed on our guest chambers."
The King rises to his feet, dismissing the emissary, and leaves via a small door behind the thrones. A courtier approaches Scodrick and offers to lead him to his room.

OOC: batonmaster500 For the sake of saving time, I'm going to say that Scodrick, the Queen and their retinue is leaving now.
IC: The next day, a small force of Sabretoothes leave the mountain, travelling south.
In the council chambers, King Finglor and old Queen Sabradia stand at opposite ends of a long table painted with a map of Chima. All around them stand a dozen notable courtiers; nobles, elders, generals and other military leaders.
"Until we hear from the envoys sent to the Ice Bears, our plans for the East will have to wait," Finglor declares, pointing to a an small ivory bear head in the Outlands. "We can, however, commence Phase 1 of my plan to subdue the Inlands. We will learn from our mistakes and avoid fighting multiple armies at once. We will, in fact, be fighting no armies at all."
As the council stares in confusion, the Queen Mother elaborates. "One of our greatest successes last time was the use of the Gorilla tunnels, which allowed us to deploy an army from the Black Mountain to conquer the southern forests, Southernfell, and the Croc Swamp. That tunnel was badly damaged, and would take weeks to reopen, as well as placing us at risk of detection from the Outlanders. We do, however, have our old tunnel networks from before the Illumination. Aside from those we ourselves have occasionally used, they've been untouched for hundreds of years; nobody has discovered them."
King Finglor resumes speech, moving several carved ivory pieces away from the map's tiny representation of Sabre Mountain. "We will deploy the First Army - eight hundred of our best warriors will be sent to reopen dozens of our tunnels beneath Chima. In this way, the first wave of our attack will hit every tribe of the South without any of them realising what happened. They are at war amongst themselves, and will blame each other for the covert strikes on their outposts and supply lines. We shall be everywhere...and nowhere."
As the First Army files out of the mountain in ordered columns, a single scout plane touches down in the airfields, racing to tell King Finglor of battle raging beneath Mountain Cavora itself. Plans seem to change all of a sudden; hastily summoning the men of his personal guard, Finglor dons his armour and leaps into a Sabre Walker, joining the force moving into the tunnel mouths.

Shamrock (OOC: Now that i think about it, reading from the past posts on here, shouldn't Saban be punished for his balance threat he did when he was "Purified" from his Fire-chi exploit he was given? Or was his "running of regent" when he came back to the HQ for the something'th time (and anticlimactically came back to his frozen form, I'd like to rewrite that part as he was hunted down to Northern Mountain Chain by Sabradia's forces and herself. Cornered and given a rather terrifying (and literal) frostbite from the queen herself to kick him back into his icy zombified form.) But i have toa dmit, i was really on POINT when i was making his escape and recapture here.)

OOC: As a side note, this made me remember that the reason Tenebrae/Senix had rescued Saban after his purification and initial capture was to tell Saban about the Phoenix Triumvirate and their cause, in hopes to possibly recruit the "rogue" sabertooth. However, that never happened, since the two of them didn't rendezvous afterward. Just a bit of trivia.

OOC: He's probably being watched close because of what happened, especially be Sabradia, but I think Finglor will have accepted that Saban only betrayed them because he had been "corrupted" by Fire chi. Since that was reversed, and he proved his loyalty by running the tribe temporarily, I'd say he's been mostly forgiven.

{JAMMERS! Batonmaster- ONLY!} OOC: That'd depend on how he pefers to fight. The Sabretooth Army is split up at the moment; the First Army, consisting of light infantry, has gone through the tunnels to raid all over Chima. The rest of their forces, though, are still at Sabre Mountain ready for Phase 2 of Finglor's invasion plan. So it's up to you; Frosar can either be:
1. With Finglor and the small force at Lion City
2. Commanding another section of the First Army, which is scattered across southern Chima, taking prisoners and looking for the tribes' Fire Chi stores.
3. In the Arctic North, where the Fleet, Air Force, land vehicles, heavy infantry etc. are waiting.
