As the Eagle Triumvirate forces fire on the Frozen Tusk with their fire chi lasers, the Vultures shift their focus toward fighting the attacking Mammoth infantry, freezing rather than slaying them, to avoid getting on bad terms with Maulisa. The Queen of the North, meanwhile, sends out armored Mammoth diplomats to attempt to convince their attacking brethren to stop following Malgus II.

While missiles and ice lasers continue to fly back and forth between the two Ice Hunter armies, Maulryene goes to a porthole in the Frozen Tusk (like Icestrike's Ultimate Glacier, the mobile HQ is partially submersible) and looks out at the battle [continued on the Frozen Tusk topic].

after noticing a battle in the command centre of the frozen tusk, scorpianus orders the snipers to fire at all windows, portholes and enemies leaving the fortress.to kill all commanding officers

Suddenly, tendrils of purple lightning rip through the Frozen Tusk, followed by a number of explosions that culminate in the mobile HQ's complete destruction. Some of the attacking and defending forces are caught in the massive explosion, knocking over and setting fire to Ice Mammoth Stompers and Sabertooth Walkers, as the fighters lucky enough to be outside the blast range look on in bafflement. Hunks of metal from the Frozen Tusk, go flying, forcing ground forces to scatter to avoid being crushed beneath them. A few of these pieces slam into Saber Mountain, wrecking turrets and causing avalanches that bury more still, but the interior of the mountain is unharmed. The Queen of the North stares out at this sight from inside the sabertooth mouth opening, near the peak.

Maulisa: "That purple lightning...Mother...?"

Sabertooth: "Your Majesty? Orders?"

Maulisa regains her composure and speaks through the loudhailer again: "Attention, all attacking and defending forces! I think we can all agree that it'd be wise to call a ceasefire, in light of this unprecedented event! The Frozen Tusk, the core of the attacking army, has been completely destroyed; exploded from the inside by my mother, Queen Maulryene, and Malgus II is almost definitely deceased...along with her..."

Though Malgus II's surviving forces have already begun shifting through the rubble (the short-lived fire from the explosion having been put out by the Arctic's snowfall and the Ice Hunters' own powers), they find no trace of their Mammoth King. At the same time, Ike and his Icebear-Sabertooth caravan arrive in the area, looking in total confusion at the sight before them. Locking eyes with Vamprah, hovering above them, Ike and many of his disheveled party put up their hands in a show of surrender. Maulisa sees this through binoculars, noticing that there's no sign of Iroquois. 

Maulisa: "To all Mammoths, Sabertooths, and Icebears! The Vultures already left our alliance, and aside from the Sabertooth Royals, who've cowardly fled to a place unknown...all of the Ice Hunter leaders except for me are dead. Unless you wish for all semblance of order among our tribes to collapse, and for the north to devolve into a pathetic state of feral anarchy...I, Maulisa, am your only viable leader. For the sake of our tribes'--no, our species--survival, we must end this pointless fighting amongst ourselves--let alone the Sabertooth Royals' failed and costly invasion of the south, that's drained us of resources and cost the lives of many of our people--and become as one."

Many of the present Sabertooths, Mammoths and Icebears put down their weapons and kneel on one knee in the snow, bowing their heads. This number grows until, eventually, all of them are doing so.

Maulisa: "This is not just the right course of action; it's the only course. I promise I will do my best as your Queen. Let the name 'Ice Hunters', and all the meaning it carries, finally cease to exist, as we become the United Northern Kingdom!"

Maulisa: "Hmm, I wasn't aware of how far your faction's reach has become. Yes, a Tribal Summit is a good idea. The southern tribes probably won't trust my surrender until they've heard it from me directly."

Vamprah signs: I second this. The Vultures have a unique perspective when it comes to this region, due to inhabiting the northern half of the Valley of Balance, which is technically part of the Arctic. We can act as mediators both during and after the Tribal Summit, when determining the territorial split between the Eagle Triumvirate and the United Northern Kingdom.

The Vultures depart, flying south to propose a Summit to the other tribes. Just as he's leaving, Vamprah exchanges a small nod with Ike, as if the Vultures and Icebears have made peace in a way.
