But who says your citizens don't? And then how do you do GPS, astronomy, geology, weather reports, reconnaissance and search and rescue? Smive is primitive, man!
My citizens don't what? As I said all those services are provided without the use of Satilites. Our service remains unknown...
Don't your civilians send satellites for their own purposes. And that means that you will need antennae to provide said services, and you won't be able to see from space...
IC:
The satellites are all destroyed with extreme ease, as they are fragile and crude. One might even say it was wasteful of resources to pay such expensive processes to deal with them...
But one thing is sure: Smive will suffer the consequences. Enregistrer
Each satellite has a similar interior: a primitive computer, with it's wires exposed, powered by some solar panels. All of them have a computer screen, with varying models, together with a keyboards. These screens lit up a few moments after the hatches open, and show the same message:

A portable computer terminal is brought to each satellite, and hooked up to the computer within. Silver Stag, the advanced AI that controls the entire Oceania computer system, starts to run potential codes past the computer, at the highest speed the old computer will allow. Meanwhile, Silver Stag searches records for any mention of BlTR Corp.
After many minutes, the code is broken, and a new screen, this time much fancier in appearance, shows up. A reverse fractal yellow triangle, in it's second step of execution lights up the screen, and words form under it:
*four more satellites enter the scan radius of "The Gladiator"(a warship)* *they are brought in via tractor beams*
The satellites are crude, fragile, and different from each other. They emit encrypted transmissions through Hyperspace, and all possess a large hatch. Enregistrer

It is still secret. There are other ways.
*Builds Mass defenses* A fifth satilite is discovered behing an asteroid and is pulled into one of my ships for research.

OOC: Okay, then, I have been snooping around for planets that haven't been claimed by Tuvok someone, so here is my list:
I claim the planets previously owned by the following people:
Iancameron (Terra, New Avalon, Tharkad, Luthien, Sian and Atreus) +6 planets. LegoBuilder (Run'dana, Tewoth, Xeyaliril, Yeni Dunya, Su Dunya, Olu Dunya) +6 planets. Boomer (Xizrok, Fairmoor) +2 planets. Annagr9553 (Aquilin) +1 planet. SuperJacob (Xtoniux) +1 planet.
Grand total: 8 + 16 = 24
I now have 24 planets, more than Tuvok (I think). But now I have to give most of them new names. References: Pages 4; 8; 10; 15; 30; 53.
Please correct me if somebody already claimed them. IC: Esomerian battle groups move to annex or propose an entry to the aforementioned planets, previously plunged into anarchy, into the UES. All of them agree, of course.
I think those planets, along with all the other unclaimed planets, should be evenly divided amongst everyone in the RP.
