Well, if reviving this place causes you to be more active, I'll take it.
Fair enough.
Let's see though... If I wanted to restore this place to its proper glory, I'll need more than just me. I know my good buddy Waffle Dee of Revelation will likely be down to return to the fun, but who else can I rustle up for some space conquest? I'm pretty certain Waffle's the only remaining major veteran. (Besides me, DUH)
I doubt Henny would be too hard to convince to play, and I know he'll read this so I'm not going to bother tagging him.
I could always drag in that HannahDash person I'm always bullying in other RP scenarios. I know her brother used to be quite prominent in the scene, perhaps she'd be willing to play.
And of course, I need to find out if Ciblast is still active, and get some other new people to cover past users.
Anyone I'm missing or think might want to join?
How'd you know I'd read this? Anyway, I'd like to join. What is this RP about though?

I just know these things.
Drat. I thought you'd played GW before. Well, Galaxy War is generally seen as one of the most extreme RPs in Message Board history. (We had several lock threats way back when, it got so intense) No crazy goofy stuff is allowed in combat, and battle is to be taken seriously. (You can still have fun, but to a limit.) Players generally create a planet and army, and can also forge alliances with other empires. These generally create factions, who then do as they wish. War was frequent back in the day. Also, just because someone is allied with you doesn't mean they won't betray you, so be cautious. For fair play, jammers are used for messages meant to be seen only by allies. Battles are generally done in fleet combat, as well as ground soldier fights, should the invaders manage to get on the ground. (This was generally rare, but a few raids did succeed in this way.) Empires can be completely destroyed and wiped out, forcing players to start anew. (I suffered this fate once, sadly. After that I did way better. ) If a move is deemed OP, other players can null it if it is found overpowered or unfair, as well as unrealistic. You may build whatever weapons and tools you want, using a ten day % system. Good military tactics and identifying enemy weaknesses also helps.
Other methods of damaging enemies can be used. One of the most prominent strikes in GW was a successful kidnapping... performed by yours truly. (This was after my first planet got wrecked. I was way better the second time) With the help of my ally Piggy, we kidnapped the leader of an enemy empire... HannahDash's brother. (Sorry about that, HannahDash) If brute force doesn't work, get creative to rule the galaxy!
If you have any other questions, feel free to ask me or probably Waffle if he shows up.

Okay, this sounds very fun and interesting. Is Hannah's brother even on here?

Glad to know you're interested. No, we don't see DoodadGuy (I think that was his name) very often any more.

Well of course Henny was going to see it, he moderates almost everything on here.
If I recall correctly, you weren't the one who performed the kidnapping. Emperor DoodadGuy was visiting the planet of a new user, I forget her name, when Badpiggy convinced her to kidnap him. After causing this chaos, the user soon vanished. You soon took possession of the emperor, while his top general ruled the empire. I ended up telling you in another topic that Doodad was quite unhappy OOC, so you had plans to give his character some control, but by that time it was too late and Doodad left the RP.
I generally use a single to lighten the tone of my statement, and two s when I'm making a joke. Generally something edgy that I don't want to be taken the wrong way.

why would I want to be bullied in another RP
JK, I don't consider it bullying, it's fun.
I know better than to get involved with a war and a faction. But perhaps I could have a single character flying around in a spaceship observing everyone.
Ciblast isn't extremely active, but he did come on just a few days ago.
Sham hasn't been very active recently. But he was one of the original players and probably wouldn't mind coming back if he could be active enough.

So be careful who you kidnap, I guess.
Ironically I wasn't the one who moderated this post. RuleJJ was. I think he and Zach are just as active as I am, moderation wise.

It's true. All of us often read older moderated posts to make sure nothing got skipped.
