Don't you see we can't go to the council? If we are all the GM then we would be arguing just like this over everything. Having a Single GM would put an end to it.
Then RP is dumb, because with the exception of a few RP games on the old MBs, a single GM has worked for decades in the mainstream RP games with no flaws at all, I don't see why we should do anything but what we know works.

one of the best RPs(IMO)had no GM or anything another had a FAC and thar was second best (IMO) another one that i was part of did not hae a GM but i was not active there and this old pit of stuff unknown to everyone did for what 50 pages and until then could not do anything organized
the best RPs have either no GM or a FAC

I'm not saying he'll do a bad job, but he has been very OP in the past, and often breaks the boundary between OOC and IC. If he becomes GM, I suspect that things will go downhill (certain people being allowed superweapons and others not, etc.)
Would you consider using your Topic Creator powers to create a Council now? I am very worried as to what will happen if it is decided that there will be a GM, and Badpiggy wins the position.

Here's my proof:Dungeons and Dragons, Paranoia, Neverwinter Nights and Vampire: The Masquerade – Redemption, are video game adaptations of tabletop role-playing games some of which are played online with one player acting as a traditional gamemaster. (Someone who hmakes the rules and dictates what happens.)
Recognize all these famous games? Do you know what made them successful and therefore wildly popular? They all have the excellent system of a ingle, all-powerful GM. There is no reason to have a council when we already have a perfectly good system.

We did try it. We gave users the power to chose what was lawful and what was not, it was called nulling. As a result, every move that was made caused an argument and got the Mods on us until Cranfill, the sole, all-powerful GM stopped the arguing and saved the RP. Why don't we go with what we know works?

There's a difference between "council" and "no law enforcement whatsoever". You're talking about the latter.

When I asked him about a month ago he didn't want to do it, I still think he should do it. With this new problem I think it would be the best thing.
