Don't you see that it CAN'T WORK? Not that we can hammer out the problems, but that we did just that with nulling, and it never did anything but getting the topic nearly locked! It wasn't until Cranfill was appointed the sole, all-powerful GM that the Mods stopped threatening us!
How do we know it cannot work if we haven't tried it? We have not had a council that has power to do stuff before.
i agree even if it was TRIED in the past that does NOT mean it won`t work now
think about it someday someone maybe launched out of a catapult and safely land on the other side of the grand canyon alot of technological advances have been made
now moving that to here most of us(not all not i said) are from the old one or have experience elsewhere in a roleplay i know samuel has experience with that it could work better then people just coming from the registration form so i still think this could work

One GM would work better than an Council. Several forum RPs have moved against an FAC because it takes a very long time to approve things or agree. The Bionicle RP is one example. Let me quote Keplers on the subject, who I'm sure even spyaz will agree with. There was one person who worked on all the "issues" -- the rep approved all the profiles, made rules (though I did seek some form of consensus before making those), and settled disputes. The three-person FAC causes all of these to often grind to a halt and pile up as multiple users with varying levels of activity must all review profiles, rules, and disputes before voting on a settlement. ~ Keplers
I will join this RP if only for the purpose of destroying you all with good old-fashioned roleplay and hopefully no disputes along the way.
Xeyal Empire
Planets Run'dana (Pronounced Run-DON-uh) - Habitable. Terrain consists of seas, beaches, and grasslands. Tewoth (Pronounced TEH-woth) - Gas giant. Features many habitable moons. Xeyaliril (Pronounced Zay-ALL-lih-ril) - Habitable. Terrain consists of mountains and jungles.
Government Monarchy, supported by a Senate.
Native Species The Xeyal Empire is led by the Xeyali race, who originated on Xeyaliril. The Xeyali are tall, thin and have pale blue skin. Their eyes are black, and they are very intelligent. They are not bona fide warriors, but their advanced technology gives them the edge in most battles. Xeyali have the natural ability to turn invisible.
Other species include Humans, Run'dana'ans, and the R'tezi. Humans are a slave species, Run'dana'ans are citizens, and the R'tezi are a reptilian warrior race.
Military The Xeyali use small but highly powerful craft in battle. One Xeyali starfighter costs about as much as a light cruiser, but has weapons similar to that of a dreadnaught and armor like a star cruiser. However, they are very expensive and used in small numbers. Their largest craft to date is 500 meters long, but it vaporized a moon with a orbital bombardment.
Reference One Xeyali squadron: 5 Starfighters. One Xeyali platoon: 20 soldiers. One Xeyali fleet: 1 Command cruiser, 2 squadrons, 2 frigates.
Moves this turn Birinci Squadron: 10% Ikinci Squadron: 10% Uncunchu Squadron: 10% Dordunchu Squadron: 10% Kubar Squadron: 10% (Note: Kubar Squadron is an elite squadron, used to escort and defend the Xeyali Emperor.)

i trust keplers in this yes. however i still will vouch for the council as it would be fairer and more vews would actully count
so in this quote i am niether for or against it
think of the FAC on ninjago RP on the MBs(this one has let been in the works due to well you know the migration)it worked just as good if not better then a single person just my two pennys

In that case, you and I are going to get along just fine (aka we will probably be at each others' throats non-stop in-character, but be the reasonable ones irl ).

I'll be voting against a council now.
I agree--single, absolute GMs have been the way this has universally been done among successful systems since the 1970s, and has been used in time immemorial with referees of competitive events throughout history.

However, whenever they need to do something that needs multiple opinions (ie. running a country) they use a council.

{JAMMERS! - junior-chan - ONLY!} I am worried as to what will happened if Badpiggy becomes GM. I'm not saying he'll do a bad job, but he has been very OP in the past, and often breaks the boundary between OOC and IC. If he becomes GM, I suspect that things will go downhill (certain people being allowed superweapons and others not, etc.)
Would you consider using your Topic Creator powers to create a Council now? I am very worried as to what will happen if it is decided that there will be a GM, and Badpiggy wins the position.

because people can`t accept a null if it turns to a argument just go to the council
plus it is less biased
i still say (no offence) a single all powerful GM (dispite who it is BP) is dumb
Don't you see we can't go to the council? If we are all the GM then we would be arguing just like this over everything. Having a Single GM would put an end to it.
Then RP is dumb, because with the exception of a few RP games on the old MBs, a single GM has worked for decades in the mainstream RP games with no flaws at all, I don't see why we should do anything but what we know works.
I couldn't think of w decent sig, so here's a pig: 🐷

We're ignoring a Mod, trusted member of the community, several other users, and the hundreds of Res that have used this system effectively because of one RP forum on a lego Board the rest of the Internet hates? Let that sink in.
