Yes, it was a hard reset--those of us who even kept our old factions are starting over with three (now six) planets. Drop down to six like a civil person and acknowledge the GM (whom everyone but you has been okay with being in charge), or we will get the mods involved.
May I propose that we bump it up to six, instead of five? That would work better for my source material; just a suggestion.

In that case, here are my six planets:
The Star League consists of six major factions (and a few lesser territories, but they don't factor into this); the capital worlds of which are as follows:
1. Terra is pretty much what you are all familiar with; formerly known as Earth, Terra is both the origin of the Human race and is the current capital of both the North American-inspired Terran Hegemony and of the Star League itself.
2. Tharkad is an icy planet, which is the capital of the German, economic powerhouse - the Lyran Commonwealth.
3. Luthien is a temperate, but heavily-polluted world due to its massive industrial base, and is the capital of the ambitious, Japanese Draconis Combine.
4. New Avalon is a rich and fertile world, and is the home of the freedom-loving, militaristic, and European Federated Suns.

I also agree that we keep our planets. As for BadPiggy's position of GM, I do not underestimate his competency, but I do support the idea of having a proper GM election, and not a Coup d'État :-P

Though we must remember that as Topic Creator, Junior will always have the authority to override the GM.
