Zzzziph!(or whatever noise a flying spear makes...)
A poorly thrown spear lands directly between them...

In the thick of battle, both Emiliano and the Man in Regalia clash. Losing grip of his vine, the Man in Regalia falls onto a table, breaking it in half. Intending to force his surrender, Emiliano draws out her blade and lets go, however, her leg becomes caught. Dangling upside-down, she attempts to chip away at the vine, but its thickness proves difficult.
The Man in Regalia, sensing an opportunity, quickly grabs a torch and an abandoned cutlass. Heading into the Tavern, he unlocks the kitchen closet and finds his remaining guards whimpering in fear.
"Follow me! Do as I do!"
Rummaging through the Tavern, they find oil and torches and follow him outside. Meanwhile, the hooded warriors continue to prevent the escape of the other Spanish Guards by taking over their vessel. Distracted, they leave their leader vulnerable—a fatal mistake.
The Falcon rushes to the scene, but is held back by the Vulture who seeks revenge. Now pinned to the ground, he is helpless to save his friend...
Calling out to the warriors, the Man in Regalia makes his offer.
"Cease such fighting and this Tavern, a respectable institution beloved by many, will stay. Continue, and I will go with you, but I will be taking it with me!"
One of the guards boasts a strong club, and playfully throwing it in the air, catches it. Behind him, the vine where Emiliano became stuck now hangs empty...

"AHHHHHH", Jeff screams, startled by the spear that almost hit him. He picks up the spear and throws it back to the direction it came from.

BONK! The spear's blunt end bonks the club throwing guard on the head. . .
Two other guards quickly drag him away in order to keep the tension of the scene intact. . .
The hooded warriors do not respond. One of them jumps in front of both Fraser and Jeff, looking at them both with a look of weary desperation. Making signals with his hands, he hopes that they would stall the Man In Regalia in exchange for some more extra chocolate hot chocolate.

"Me confuzzled. Are dese hooded guys on our side or da bad side?", he says to himself and to Fraser.

*Fraiser idly skims a stone across the water. It makes a pathetic excuse of a skip before sinking to the bottom of the sea* ''Who cares, as long as we's got our hot choco!''

The Man In Regalia smirks as he raises his lighted torch closer to the Tavern.
"I'll give you till the count of three. One-"
Whoosh!
The spear hits the torch, knocking it into the Tavern window and igniting a wooden table inside...
The hooded warriors look at Jeff in disappointment.
From a nearby window pops out Emiliano, whose arms and legs are bound by the tough tree vine. With only her head visible, she yells at him and Fraser as flames begin to engulf the Tavern.
"Yar! Whomever helps me free and douse dis flames gets a supply of extra chocolate hot chocolate fer life!"
A small cinder falls on her shoulder, but she quickly wipes it away with her cheek.

Amused by his antics, the Man In Regalia pauses from fighting and holds his men back for a moment to watch him pout.
Emiliano simply rests her head on a window sill and waits. The chair she was balancing on gives way and after falling down she simply let's out a tired sigh.

Inside the Tavern, Emiliano continues to dodge falling objects while vainly trying to douse the flames with her foot in an effort to keep the fire contained to the sitting area...sacrificing her amazingly classy pirate hat in the process...
