IC: Her face left blank, Emiliano looks at her foot and sees a Birman Cat purring near her ankle. Bending down, she scratches its chin and nods. "I thank thee."
Standing upright, Emiliano raises an open hand. Suddenly, a polished cutlass falls from above. Catching it, she presents it to the Pirate. "In case of any further trouble."
The sharp cry of a falcon follows her statements, and a tiny floating fire hangs in the night sky. Luz, the falcon, carries a small fire pot in his claws, holding it steady. Emiliano encourages the Pirate to follow.
Sitting at a lonely table near the Tavern, two retried shipmen sip their beverages. One of them begins to choke on his drink as his eyes grow wide in astonishment. His friend pats him on the back, inquiring about his sudden shock. "Matey, what's wrong?"
The coughing shipman sputters out his drink and points upward. "Look, tis one of those flying craft! See, it glows!"
His friend looks in the direction of the glowing object and scoffs. "Nah mate, tis a really bright star it is."
The glowing object (Luz The Falcon's fire pot) moves, making the shipmen draw back in terror.
"Let's not speak of this to anyone."
"I think the mutton is getting to meh."
IC: *The pirate opens his coat on the right side to reveal a cutlass in his belt.* "I prefer mine, but thanks for the offer."
*He follows Emiliano or the falcon, whichever one's leading.*
The falcon's beacon leads them to the ship La Paloma, where Emiliano expertly strikes a foot and bows. "Shall yon fellow board?"
IC: *The pirate takes a breath and nods.* "If i'm welcome."
OOC: BabyDill sorry, were you wanting to do anything while all of this is happening?

IC: Raising her arm, Emiliano nods to Luz as he gently lands down and shuffles his feathers. She whispers something to him before handing him a shiny object. Releasing him, Luz flaps his wings to gain air and flies out of view.
Noticing @babydill being quite confused as to what they were doing, Luz decides to brighten their day and drops the coin down into their hand.
OOC: I assume you are the owner of this fine establishment?
