Steve decides that exploring the tunnels is definitely a wise decision. He brandishes his mighty weapon, (his rubber chicken named George) and bravely waddles over towards the tunnel entrance. "Huzzah! Because I'm totally the smartest one in the group, I'm probably the only one who decided to search the tunnels." He pats his own back. "Good job me. Now, TIME TO EXPLORE THE DEPTHS OF THIS DARK AND MYSTERIOUS PASSAGE OF SECRETS." He crawls on his hands and knees and immediately bangs his head on the wall. He passes out.
*SEVERAL MINUTES LATER*
"Snoooree...GDJKV GASP. I was struck!" He leaps to his feat. "No matter. I'm still alive and well." checks watch. "Hmm...." shakes it a few times. "HUZZAH! Dinner time." waddles out of the room twirling George on his way to the cafe. "I must eat before I begin my long and perilous journey."
As you tramp off in pursuit of a tasty meal, you fail to notice the ominous figure watching you from the shadows. As he silently moves along he leaves a clue: A small chunk of a twix bar. so edgy and spooky
As you continue arguing in the dark, stuffy, cramped tunnels of depression you see a small door slowly creaking open, casting an elongated rectangle of light across the dusty floorboards.
Will you investigate the matter? Or will you fight to the DEATH?
if you opt for fiting to le death I have my popcorn waiting
Your choice.
WAIT this sounds like they're figuring out for themselves who the smasher was.

Hey, it's all cool. I'm just glad everything turned out alright.
Leaf notices that almost everyone has run to the tunnels. She shudders at the thought of closing walls and darkness and decides to turn her attention to the security cameras instead. "Hmm, there must be a surveillance room somewhere. Finding it would definitely shed more light to the situation...and bring more scoops!" She takes out her little notebook and pen then travels up-n-down to each deserted floor. "Alright. Time to get to work."
*dramatically sips tea* For courage.
On his way to the cafe, the chivalrous Steve just so happens to chance upon Tigress. He waves his rubber chicken named George at her. "Why hello there good sir! I'm on my way to the cafe. Care to join me madam?" He twirls his rubber chicken and immediately smacks himself in the face with it. "GEORGE. WE'VE TALKED ABOUT THIS." Continues twirling it. Smacks himself in the face again. "GEORGE STOP THIS AT ONCE!" He throws the unfortunate George violently onto the floor and kicks it across the hallway. "Ahemhem." He straightens his unruly hair. "Sorry about all that. NOW. Where were we friend?" Blanks out. "AH! Oh yes! Supper! Care to join me?"

[I'm, defiantly not going to fight to the death... I wanna see where that light is coming from. ]
"Hold up. Whats that?" Bear asks, suddenly distracted by a ray golden light, streaming onto the dusty ground. She crawled towards it, the walls of the narrowing passageway rubbing up against her. Finally reaching her destination, Bear peered through the opening. "By golly, it's a secret room!"

How? She was in the tunnels.
Poor George.
Ah yes, silly me. My bad. Typo's an all that.
Pish posh my good sir! George totally deserved such treatment.

This is all so funny.
Why yes. Of course it was funny. For I am a comedic genius. *Puts on shades*

As you explore the darkening hallways and rooms, you notice something peculiar in the old elevator. No button to press to take you to Floor 1.
Floor 1 is inaccessible.
Will the spoopy set of stairs in the lobby take you there? Or will you continue investigating elsewhere?
Your choice.
*Breaks down elevator wall O:<*
Leaf takes note of that then enters the lobby. Upon seeing the spoopy stairs, she decides to begin the great descend into the unknown. She explores the darkness with a mini flashlight installed in her trusty pen. Her heart pounds loudly as she finally reaches the bottom. "Well, here we go."
"Defending myself from and aggressing against whoever the murderer is, obviously. Also: you have no excuse. I came from that direction."
Emarcee says, pointing behind him.
"There's a series of tunneles with an entrance in Mock's room! which means that whoever the murderer is, they're likely on the other side of the tunnel. The fact remains: you have no alibi, and your name is reminiscent of a deadly animal. Give me one good reason why I should trust you."
Just because you came from that direction means nothing.

Emarcee notices this, and shouts quite loudly:
"SHI-NE!!!!!!"
a surge of lightning blasted straight into the open room, hopefully electrocuting the murderer inside.

As you enter the secret room (that just so happens to be Baton's hotel room) you blink against the harsh sunlight streaming through the rooms window. You sit there for a few seconds, adjusting to the new atmosphere. You straighten up and stretch your cramped muscles.
You take a step forward. Something's in the corner.
You squint, beyond the rays of sunlight and dust molecules floating about, is a figure hunched in the shadows.
"Helloo-!" You recoil in horror. For sitting on the floor is Baton. a Marlfox axe grasped in his lifeless hands. He's been defeated with his own weapon. An unbreakable twix rapier. Your attention turns towards the door. It's been swung open, it's hinges still squeaking.
*stutters whilst being shaken* I-I-I w-w-ould if y-you w-would j-j-just l-le-let go-go!
Holy cow, you're a fan, too!? Awesome!! I've only just started the series (I'm going to read Book 4 as soon as I'm done with John Carter of Mars), but thus far my favorite character is Halt -- his cleverness and dry wit know no bounds! Who's your favorite character -- if I know them yet?
YES I love Rangers Apprentice! I LOVE IT. ^_^ Haha, Yes! Halt is by far, THE BEST CHARACTER TO EVER EXIST. ( he really reminds me of my grandpa )
I'm new to the fandom, and I already love it!! When it comes to characters, Halt's pretty hard to beat. (Ha ha, that's awesome! Don't tell me your grandpa is skilled in archery, too! ) How long have you been a fan?
