ok i've never made a post on the eternals before why am i nervous i don't know why i think this will be rejected here we go deep breath
The LMBEs birthday was celebrated recently -- for a year, a group of moderators have been keeping the memory of the original Lego Message Boards alive by creating the Eternals that we now know and love so well. Those mods have worked super-hard to keep this place up and in shape, and it's hard not to notice how quickly and efficiently they moderate posts, earnestly reply and share conversations with other users, hold contests and polls for us to enjoy, and all in all give everything they've got for the Eternals and its users. My friend YouKnowWho and I were talking about this several days ago, commenting on how hard they work and how well they manage the boards here, and when I joked about declaring that I'm thankful for the Eternals and the mods who moderate it at the next Thanksgiving dinner, she suggested that there ought to be a topic like that. After discussing it, we decided that the users of the Eternals should have a chance to formally thank their favorite mods for what they do through a topic dedicated to them.
So, this is what this topic is about. Do you have something you'd like to say to the users behind this site who keep it alive and happy? Is there anyone in particular you'd like to thank? Is there something about the Eternals that you really appreciate? Do you have any memories of one of the mods doing something commendable that you'd like to remind everyone of?
