I would like to do more serious animations, but it seems a little wrong and inappropriate to use LEGO.
I really don't have anyone to act in a real film, so I'm stuck with these ideas. Besides YT is probably going to get really strict on creators soon, and I don't really want the hassle for a stop-motion animation.
one could say it's just a form of art theyre just using different things to tell slightly different stories
oh yeah, heard about that :/ YT isnt the best place to place your content anymore, ironically

Well yeah, but I've seen backlash for people who don't do funny LEGO animations... People who do brutal ones, or realistic ones, or ones with curse words. I think that's because LEGO is viewed as a children's toy. Most expect the topic to match the toy.
I also wanted to do an animation about PTSD and the haunting of nuclear shadows. Even in itself, that would be a hard subject to tackle let alone doing it with a toy.
Yeah, early last year YT started banning Peppa Pig memes. I feel like those sorts of animations would likely be tarred with the same brush... because of the children's aspect.

oh yeah, exactly i dont think that should be a factor to put you or anyone off creating what they want though.
I would really enjoy watching both of those! Some people create really challenging stories with rough subjects with the Sims games and it works, using lego would still work too. it would be the first of its kind and i think it would inspire others too!

Keshen8 does some funny Brickfilms...
As for the second comment, that would be difficult
As for the third comment, do you mean meme animations?

Yeah, the memes were pretty weird but the web is age restricted for a reason.

they were great
Yeah. I've heard about some of the Sims ones... About teenagers going through adult things. People/adults don't like to hear about that sort of thing though. They'd rather just ignore real life, because games and films are an escape from reality.
I think sometimes it's hard to be the first though.
They were odd, but it did show what was potentially going on in the creator's life.
So, I recently made a MichaelHickoxFilms topic, where we started talking about other brick films, and we were having a blast. But, the topic reasonably got locked for going off topic. So let's continue everything, as well as do new things. Hugh-Zninjalegoboy9389
Wow,you like MichaelHickox too?:DI love his videos!!:DAlso,I gotta go find the names of some REALLY WELL DONE Brickfilms,so that you guys can watch them!:DI love making them myself!
Yeah, kinda. The sort of stuff that is usually on television after 9PM. But it's probably inappropriate to turn LEGO into maniacs and corrupt police officers.

some of them, are, admittedly, silly but it just shows you can make art *cough* through anything
wouldnt that be the main reason to make it though?

Eh. I don't know. My current stuff is kinda dumb/silly. It would be weird to just create something so different to what I already have, and what everyone else is doing.
