Leodus: "Not really. The Tigers wanted us to either leave, or apologize for something that never happened. Quite strange."
“Well... i guess they were always paranoid of a hunter attack...” -a leopard guard ponders-
Leodus: "Fortunately the hunters are still trapped north. We must work to keep it that way." Leodus strides through the Golden halls, his cape billowing behind him.

Leodus: "Fortunately the hunters are still trapped north. We must work to keep it that way." Leodus strides through the Golden halls, his cape billowing behind him.
Suddenly, the fundamental elements of Fire and Ice become unbalanced. Leodus sits up in his throne, alarmed. Leodus: "The curse has been broken!" Leodus looks out a window from the castle, seeing Icestrike's Ultimate Glacier rise up out of The West Sea in the distance as it approaches the Iron Mountains.

Leodus looks through binoculars and sees icebears banging their shields and weapons together as they, on their mobile HQ, eagerly come towards the mountains at the shore. The Ultimate Glacier arrives at the edge of the Iron Mountains, spreading snow across every patch of land it covers on its way to the Valley of Balance. Leodus: "The icebears have returned as a result of the curse being broken!"

Leopard: "Your highness, should we arm the defenses?" Leodus: "No need. Remember the prophecy? As long as the broken mountain separated from its mountain range [Black Fang Mountain] remains uncontrolled by either element, the invisible forcefeild keeping Ice Hunters out of the the Valley of Balance will remain intact. Although Icestrike knows of the prophecy as well, so I better send some leopards to Black Mountain to warn whoever lives there of the Ice Bears' inevitable attack."

OOC: I'm sure you can see where this is going.
Abruptly, there is a ripple in the already unbalanced elements. The translucent yellow forcefeild around the Valley of Balance becomes visible just for a moment as it disintegrates into nothingness, falling. The leopard scouts are dismayed at what they see as they return to the Golden City. One walks up into the throne room. Leopard: "Your highness, the natives of Black Mountain did heed your warning, but their defense didn't stand a chance without fire chi, as we weren't able to bring them enough in such short time." Leodus: "I know. Black Mountain has come under the control of a single element, therefore the prophecy is fulfilled, and our forcefeild has fallen." Leodus (roars into a horn on a balcony): "ARM ALL DEFENSES! THE ICEBEARS WILL BE HERE SOON!"
The Golden City is heavily weaponized with turrets (the one from the Ice Vulture Glider set) and Leopard Mobile Commands (Tigers' mobile command vehicles, but repainted in yellow; they were supplied to the leopards by the tigers during the war) patrolling the border of the valley, among other fire chi powered defenses.
Icestrike's Ultimate Glacier approaches yet again, this time from the east rather than the northwest, obviously.
A lone lion speedor drives through the Iron Mountains from the south, getting to the Valley of Balance before the icebears. Lycor is recognized by his old friends and escorted into the castle. Leodus: "Lycor, greetings." Lycor: "Leodus, I have returned here because of the Crawler Empire's fall at the hands of these Ice beings, and the fact that those beings pose a threat to the inland tribes...and the fact that these beings who've been fighting the Crawlers are clearly those birds and bears." Lycor gestures to the wall-sized mural behind the Leopard throne depicting the leopards fighting Vultures and icebears. Leodus: "Yes..those enemies of ours have reemerged." Lycor: "You never wanted to tell me what the conflict depicted on that mural was while I lived here. But now I need answers, Leodus, so that we inland tribes can be prepared to fight these species." Leodus: "Very well. I don't like to talk about the Icebear—Leopard war, because I'm not proud of what I did to end the conflict, even though I knew it had to be done, and I had no other choice." (Leodus tells Lycor of the war, summarized in the bios of Vamprah, Leodus, and Icestrike.) Lycor: "You exiled them to the Arctic and cursed them? That's what turned them into ice zombies! Their vengeance-driven rampage wouldn't be happening now if you just made peace with them! Must we inlanders and outlanders suffer for your mistake?!" Leodus stands as he roars the first sentence: "General Lycor!! I had no choice! Believe me, I tried making peace treaties. The vultures and Icestrike's rogue bears were past the point of reasoning. They were going to keep fighting until they won. Think about it, Lycor; They weren't Ice beings at the time. If the Vultures and Icebears defeated the Leopards and Tigers, they'd gain enough chi and fire chi to rival the Phoenix and inland tribes, and possibly take over Chima. It was either the fall of Chima, or the exile of two tribes. The Phoenix had to make the same choice when they exiled the Sabertooths and Mammoths. The freezing of their limbs was a side effect of the curse to keep the elements balanced."

IC: *Leodus hears the rev of a speedor as it pulls up. The speedor is dark orange with 2 racing tigers on the left and right side (think running dog for Greyhound, but a tiger running with it's mouth open, roaring, and completely black side profile of the tiger.) and an orange and black striped top. This design denotes it as one of Titus' personal speedors. The tiger roars up to the sentry.* "The tigers want to repair relations between our two tribes, and resume the mutual alliance that used to be in place."
