This place should retain being an LMB refugee camp there is a huge inequality in posts the users with over 4000 posts, a mere 12 users, have over a third of all posts the calculated average is 382, less than 100 users fall under this number, there is a massive chunk of the community that found this place and just did not stick around.
Why did they not stick around? I only officially started posting here December of last month... This forum seems to be only 'General discussion' and roleplay topics... We need more Lego based forums and topics as well. On the LMBs there have been 7,697,975+ posts, on here not as much. The Community Chat forum was the most active on the old boards, not sure about the old old boards though...

I believe we should be a general LEGO forum. I came here because the LEGO.com galleries fell apart, and I wanted to stay with my friends, but also to keep being able to express my love of LEGO, which has been going since I was 6 years old. I will never cease to be a LEGO fan, and I would love it if this became an official LEGO site.
Just to throw my two bits in, I vote General LEGO Forum. We need new members, the major problem with LMBers is that we're all getting older. And with that comes less time, and less interest in plastic bricks.

While a refugee hub sounds like a good idea, Con makes a good point. A lot of us LMBers are getting older, many of us approaching college (if we aren’t already there). And while we all love this place because it is a safe place for us to enjoy lego and, might I add more importantly, a community where we can make friends and belong, we all are getting more responsibilities and are having less time for this. (I personally am busy a lot so I can’t be as active as I was on the old MB’s...). I think we should prioritize bringing in new people to discover this community, instead of waiting around on old users who might never show up. This is just my two cents...

Continuing hopping into these conversations a month apart, I'm beginning to agree, as our numbers are dying.

In all actuality, we should start becoming a generally Lego site. Let's look at the facts: we as users are not going to be around forever. We do not grow at a steady enough pace to constantly replenish our ranks. If we don't get attraction to newer users, then this board will ultimately flail and die.
I am a old LMB survivor. I loved the boards to the end. However, we can not trust the belief that every old Lmb user will come here, because the truth is they won't. What we can, and should do, is keep moving forward. Times change, and so do we.
