Greetings, and welcome to the first of the Eternal Anniversary Votes 2018!
As you can see from the title, this vote is about the direction you think the site should go in. LMB Eternal has now existed for one year to the day, so it's time to think about what we should do now that we're well-established.
There are three choices in this vote:
Remaining a Lego Message Boards Refugee Camp, which is what we have been since our creation. This means keeping a LEGO focus, and keeping the site in a way that attracts former MBers, but is unlikely to attract new users.
Becoming more of a general LEGO site. This means keeping our LEGO focus, and having a slightly lower (but still reasonable) chance of attracting former MBers, and raises the chances of attracting new LEGO fanatics.
Becoming a general site. This means ceasing to have such a massive LEGO focus, and opening new forums for other franchises in addition to our LEGO forums. This is likely to lower our appeal to former MBers and, to an extent, to other LEGO fanatics, but may result in new users attracted to new forums.
I believe we should be more of a general LEGO site as most of the LMB members have found, or will not find, this place. Also our membership influx has grinded almost to a halt and this is a way to atract more members.
I voted for LMB refugee hub, because well its what I am used to, its what makes us unique, there are hundreads of lego related hubs, we have a hogher degree of standards because we are a successor organisation, just my views, if we became a regular old lego forum well, whats the purpose of staying here there are other forums without moderation.

Definitely remaining an LMB refugee camp. If we change this from a LEGO-specific site to a general, well, everything-related site, the LEGO forums will start to become smaller and more obscure, and communities of retired LEGO themes like Chima will slowly start to fade away.

There are still more users, logging in, almost every day you will find a new user, the problem is they aren't sticking around, we need to think not how to attract more, but how to keep our current community.

“Almost every day” is a bit of an exaggeration. I’d say almost every month. And the community is fine. We are seeing inactive users resume their activity quite a bit recently. No more old users are coming. We need to be amongst the bigger, more popular LEGO forums. With the original purpose of the MBs, a safe place to talk about LEGO.

Also, what I described if pretty much exactly what happened to the TTV Message Boards, so I don't want LMBE to have the same fate.

Thank you, and Happy Voting! ~Team LMBE
I definitely want it to stay LEGO; I wouldn't care whether or not it stays a LMB refugee camp or becomes more like a general LEGO site, which the original LMBs were like.

Not really. Since September 26 (when I joined), a new user has joined every 1.7288135593220338983050847457625 days. To make that easier, roughly every 1 and 3/4 days.

Averages aren’t usually the actual influx.
Ok check them by the date they joined and I will still be correct, there are new users logging on almost every other day. Their are several users who joined this year,
