I don't think you're fully grasping the situation. Con has an actual fanbase. Not just friends, a group of people who I would loosely define as his fans, as evidenced by this topic, THEGREATCON FANFICTION ,and the ever-popular trend of con puns. Most users don't. Not that you don't make a valid argument. There are probably some other users with a similar following, but the average user is not in a situation where a number of people would have a significant desire to use an emote based on him/her with any regularity. Con is.

It should either be a plain sombrero or a lego head emote wearing a sombrero. Anything else I'd be against.

I agree with this as well, by "Con emote" what I'm really wanting is a sombrero/guy with sombrero emote.
