I'm just going to go ahead and answer these questions four years after they were asked.
1: What drew you to the original LMBs and/or to LMBE?
My brain TBH I don't really remember what drew me to the LMBs. But I joined LMBE/TBB because I wanted to see some of the users I knew on the LMBs, I wanted to continue RPing, and I wanted that nostalgia!
2: Where did you spend most of your time on the original LMBs and/or on LMBE?
The General and Castle topics.
3: Describe your friendships and community on the original LMBs and/or on LMBE.
I never really got into the friendship side of the LMBs, but I really enjoyed the adventures and fun of the RolePlays.
4: How often did you post on the original LMBs? Does that differ from how often you post on LMBE?
I generally posted a few times a week, as I was mostly RPing. But here, on TBB I post much more frequently and in many more topics.
5: How do you think moderation affects your relationships on the LMBs/LMBE?
Moderation is a good thing in my opinion, as it is rare to find safe sites these days. *starts a ''back in my day'' rant*
6: Is it different in any way to have other users moderating posts here on LMBE as opposed to the mods of the original LMBs?
Responsible people are responsible people, so I'd say it isn't all that different. unless we're aliens.
7: The biggest thing I'm after is how moderation affects the LMB/LMBE community, so basically if there are any details you can give me on that, please do.
One of LMB's strong points was that it was safe for kids, and that is also LMBE/TBB's strong point. The only way moderation really seems to affect the community is when it's sometimes slow, which, lately, doesn't seem to be the case thanks to all the epic Mods on this site.
Hey guys! For my English class, I have to write a research paper about something yada yada blah blah technical details. Anyway, I decided to research the LMBs and LMBE, so I need to ask a few questions. If anyone has time to help out, I'd really appreciate it! Just answer any questions below that you're comfortable answering in as much detail as you would like to give, and it's totally fine it you don't answer all of them. Thanks!
Also, if you don't want to answer publicly, send me a PM instead. (Shamrock please don't get mad at me for this )

1. LMBE was recommended to me by Keplers. I found the LMBs after one day exploring on LEGO.com and thought it would be cool to talk to people online. At the time, back in good old 2012, I viewed that as magic. So, naturally, I had to get myself in on the action.
2. LMBE wherever my name is mentioned or if I see something that captures my eye. Usually CC. On the old board I was usually in CC, but I was pretty much in every forum.
3. On the old LMBs, I had really good friends, people who I had rivals with, people I just considered friends/acquaintences, and people I didn't like.
4. I posted approximately 1096% more on the old LMB than I do on here. I don't know what else I have to say.
5. Here? I have no problem with it. It's completely fine and rejections/moderation is reasonable and understandable. I found the old LMB's to have biased, unjustified, and unfair moderation. Yes, I posted some stupid stuff, but some stuff I saw other users get away with drove me nuts, knowing if I did the same I'd get ripped into.
6. Here, moderation doesn't worry me. On the old LMBs, it was like playing... Yeahhhh.
