After the first few hits, Doomsday adapts to Hulk's attacks and counters them by blocking with his arms. Because of his raging state, Hulk brings his fists down on the spikes covering Doomsday several times.
The spikes cause pain, but no visible damage. Roaring in anger, Hulk stomps his foot into Doomsday's back/midsection (depending on Doomsday's position).

IC: Hulk lands harshly, irritating him further. He yanks foot out of Doomsday's grip, standing. He throws a flurry of flailing punches at Doomsday inaccurately, advancing with four steps toward him.
Spectrum avoids the rubble and continues to heat up the inside of the construct.
Ultron's adamantium plating shows no signs of melting. He continues to fire a concussion beam at the construct.
OOC: The molecular structure of adamantium is literally immovable. Ergo it cannot be melted.
OOC: What about his inner workings? Being a metal, adamantium is very likely to conduct heat at a great pace. With this kind of heat, I would say his inner workings would be under threat.
But that doesn't matter any more because, as I only just read, the construct has been destroyed, and so all the pressure I was building up is gone. How bogus.
That thing is pretty much indestructible, we've gotta do something about it.
