Brian Nixon tires to get an appointment with JJJ. He waits outside his office and chats with Betty in the mean time.
*You enter JJJ’s office.* Ah, Brian. What can I do for you?
"Thank you for seeing me sir. I've got something for you. I apologise for my tardiness, I had... business to take care of." Brian puts a cassette tape on the table. "It's footage from downtown Gotham. I paid specific attention to the chaos that now plagues Gotham, and even some of the people trying to keep the peace. I saw some police, but what really caught my eye was these new do-gooders. You know, the ones who saved Metropolis? I gave you photos of them last time. I hope you find the footage satisfactory, sir."

On the outskirts of the city, there is an old LexCorp building. It's been abandoned (to the public) for a few months now but nobody's torn it down. That should be taken care of in short order by a rather.... expected visitor to the facility.
Anyone nearby hears a tremendous roar from inside as one of the walls crumbles into a cloud of dust. A grey-skinned monster leaps out and charges towards the nearest building. He tears that one apart as well. The citizens nearby are either running and screaming as they should or filming the event on their phone's camera for a BrickTube video.
