Welcome to the Heroes' Quest. Many brave warriors must unite to save the world... Do you have what it takes to defeat the evil forces, and defend what's right?
RULES: 1. I will be commanding the evil armies. You guys are good. I know this may seem restricting, but this will hopefully be understandable with further explanation.
2. There are several different classes to choose from. Now, there may be some traditional RPG classes that aren't here, (Bye bye, mages.) but there are still some classics, (Knights continue to fight!) and some other new choices. Each one has different abilities and stats. 3. The classes are: A. Knight. A classic choice, they have good attack power and above average defense. STATS: Attack: (50-1,000.) HP: (100-2,000.) Defense: (10-200.) SP: (10-50.) B. Doctor. This hero can heal others through science and medicine, but his attack and defense are low. STATS: Attack: (25-500.) HP: (200-1,750.) Defense: (0-50.) SP: (15-100.) C. Professor: Knowledge is power! This hero is able to learn the movesets and stats of opponents, allowing teams to form a strategy. However, he can only do one enemy at a time. STATS: Attack: (30-800.) HP: (50-1,500.) Defense: (5-125.) SP: (15-100.) D. Mighty-Warrior: No hero is as mighty as this one. With a single strike, he can do loads of damage and has plenty of health and defense. However, they can only attack EVERY OTHER TURN. STATS: Attack: (100-2,000.) HP: (250-2,500.) Defense: (15-300.) SP: (5-30.) E. Fitness Trainer: Somehow, this hero can do a workout in the middle of a battle, and raise his attack power and health temporarily! However, it will cost a turn. STATS: Attack: (40-900) HP: (150-2,250.) Defense: (0-25.) SP: (20-100.)
That’s everyone right now, but I may add more later.
3. No matter what, your attacks will connect, because I don’t want to add a chance system. However, my attacks will also always connect, because I don’t want to add a chance system. Be careful! However, there may be cases where you can’t attack. (For example, it will be hard for a Knight to hit a flying opponent, UNLESS he has SP.)
4. SP, BTW, stands for a gauge showing how many points you have for special moves, such as healing people as the doctor. Use it wisely!
5. Whenever a foe is defeated, it will grant you XP. Every time you gain 100 XPs, you gain a level, and your stats increase. Try to get as much XP as you can!
6. I WILL be playing with as much strategy as you. Just as you guys can come up with a cunning system to defeat my army, I can strategize my moves to KO you and win the fight.
7. In the event that I triumph and KO all of you in a fight, you will have to continue from the last town visited. This will be explained in a moment.
8. Towns are basically rest points. Here, you can have some goofy events happen, like go shopping for the fun of it. There’s not too much effect on gameplay, save two things. First, you can all decide when to continue and move on to your next mission. You must all agree on leaving. Second, if the storyline demands it, or I feel you guys are sandbagging by staying in the town and not moving out, I can send in a Mini-Boss, or even a FULL POWERED BOSS INTO THE TOWN to fight. Whether I win or lose, you guys MUST advance after the fight, and any HP restored from the fight may be lost in the fight. In other words, have fun, but DON’T DAWDLE.
9. There are several different types of foes. Some rely more on numbers, while others, like bosses, are one foe with tremendous power. You’ll have to adjust your strategy for different foes. After all, if you keep your strategy for a large group of weak foes, you’ll have a hard time when I send that Mini-Boss into town.
10. The story is slightly random. Although the main base-line is set, (You stop the bad guys, blah blah blah.) backstories and whatnot for your characters are yours to make. However, you MUST. ABSOLUTELY. KEEP. THEM. APPROPRIATE. I don’t care how dramatic you want to be, it WILL be child-friendly, or else I’ll send in a dragon to deal with that character SO FAST, you won’t know what happened.
11. Anyway, your characters can also chat with one another, but again, keep it appropriate. In ANY event where a character acts inappropriate after a warning, I will send in a dragon and deal with them. Then, you’ll have to make a new character, and start over with level one stats.
12. The stats you saw earlier for the five classes go from the minimum amount, when you’re at level one, to the max, when you’re at the highest level.
