Part Seven!
A new day was beginning. The sun’s golden rays streamed into the bedroom. All was peaceful until the alarm blared “Beep, beep, beep, beep!”. “Uhh,” “Ohh,” groaned the ninja as they got out of their beds. “Hey, Kai, you should go look in the mirror.” Jay said with a snicker. “What is it now, Jay?” Kai asked with an annoyed tone in his voice. He sleepily walked out the door and towards the bathroom. A few seconds later a scream rang throughout the temple. “AHHHHHHHH! MY HAIR!!!!!!!” At hearing this, the rest of the guys burst out into laugher. Nya’s bedroom was upstairs and that morning she woke up to the sound of her older bother yelling like a little kid. Kai wasn’t at breakfast today. He could have been enjoying the warm and delicious French toast that Zane had made, but instead he was fixing his really messed up hair.
After that event, the rest of the day flew by as the ninja trained, and soon it was evening. The sun started to hide behind the mountains, colors of day were starting to vanish. The white moon was rising, and the blacks and grays of night were coming with it. The thought of Clara knowing his name wandered around Cole’s mind as he watched the sunset from one of the temple’s black rooftops. “That Ninja seemed to know a lot. She knows where we live, and my name,” Cole thought to himself. “I guess she could have figured that out by the news or other people, but it is still strange that someone who seemed to appear from out of nowhere knows so much about us.” The crisp night wind blew through Cole’s raven black hair; the white full moon took over the sky, as he pondered these questions. But Cole wasn’t the only one watching the sky that night. Little did he know that the same person he was thinking about was also thinking about him.
“Would you like to be part of our team?…wow, I can’t believe Cole would ask me that,” Clara said to herself as she stared at the sparkling stars. The moon bathed Clara’s home with pure white light. “Could I be a part of a team? I would really love to but is now the time? If it is, I don’t want to say no and miss out, but if it’s not I don’t want to say yes and regret it later! Oh, what do I do?” Just then she heard a little voice. “I think you should join their team,” it said calmly. The Purple Ninja looked around to see where the voice was coming from. “Where are you!? Who are you!?” she yelled, while she kept looking around franticly, her heart pounding, her mind racing. “Calm down, calm down,” answered the voice, “I’m right here. On this rock, near the edge of the cliff.” Still scared, the Ninja looked down to where the voice was coming from and saw a little lizard. His scales were tan with light blue here and there, head stretched out high, eyes shining bright and rimed with gold. He was about a foot long. “You’re…you’re a lizard!?” Clara stated with surprise and shock “How are you talking!?” “Well, like I said before, calm down! You’d think you were having a heart attack! And to answer you’re question, us animals have been talking for as long as you humans. You are just one of special people that can hear us,” explained the lizard.
Clara and the lizard sat and talked for a long time that night for when they stopped the moon was high in the black sky. With help from Leny (that was the lizard’s name) the Purple Ninja came to the decision ... …to accept Cole’s request to join the Ninja team. So the next morning she packed her bags and set off to the Temple.
She looked out into the world beyond from her old home. She knew that this decision would change her life forever. She jumped off the rocky ledge. As the world was coming closer, wings sprouted from Clara’s back. The dragon inside of her was now out, the fire in her soul still burning like the sun. She soared high up into the blue sky of the fresh day.
A new chapter of the Purple Ninja’s story was about to begin.
Thanks NFM! Leny or Leonard is my pet dragon in real life.
You're welcome! Awesome! I think I've seen pictures of him on the galleries before. ( I've always liked lizards, I used to have some, but I don't right now. Hopefully again in the future someday though. )

XD I need an alarm clock like that. I could wake up to the musical notes of Kai's panicked scream every morning.

Nicely done, Bear!
If that were my alarm clock, I think that, sooner or later, Ninja or not, Kai would get seriously hurt.

XD But wouldn't waking up to the sound of someone's scream scare you in the morning?

Part Eight
Lloyd was writing in his brown leather journal that morning. He was siting on the cold stone steps that led up to the temple’s doors. Looking up from his book he thought about what to write next. He had already written about Kai’s hair episode, how the Purple Ninja swooped into the battle with Clayton, and even how Clayton knew Clara’s name. But before Lloyd could think of what to write next a purple dragon appeared from out of nowhere and landed on the ground with a thud. It nearly scared him to death. “AHHH!” he yelled.
“Oh! Sorry!” said the Dragon. “Great job Clara. You just scared the Green Ninja,” She whispered to herself.
“You’re the Purple Ninja!” Lloyd shouted in amazement, “What are you doing here? Is Clayton here or his master? Are we going to be attacked?” “ No. There is no threat at the moment,” Clara answered after she transformed into her true form, “I don’t think he told you, but Cole asked me if I wanted to join your team. After thinking about it for a while I decided that I would like to. But since you are the leader, if you don’t want me to…” But before she could finish Lloyd cut her off.
“No, no, we would love for you to join our team!” he stated as he stood up. “Would you like me to show you around?” ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Welp that's all I got for now.
But don't worry this is not the end.
Here's something to think on in till the next chapter is out:
