A purple mask covering my face as I run at a steady pace; skyscrapers tower above the city ground as I wish not to be found. Running through darkness of alleyway, I feel my mortal shell give way. Concealing mask on my face no more, as four silver hooves pound the cold concrete floor! A chestnut mare silver mane streaming A purple glint in my eye gleaming. The sky so blue, the clouds so white, my mind is dreaming of glorious flight. In the distance brick wall stands before me, so faster I gallop; the world blurring ‘round me. I take a leap and clear the wall, my mind racing, as I fall. The street comes closer my back spouts wings and hooves turn to claws as my heart sings Silver wings catch the air as the city falls away And I whisper
“I will return another day”…
Wow. I'm not usually a big fan of poems, but that was pretty darn good, Bear! (Oh, yeah, the story part was good, too. )

Clayton quickly took out a little glass bottle full of liquid from his pocket and through it on the concrete ground, making it smash into a million pieces and it’s containment’s to splatter. A portal of blue and purple appeared where the bottle had shattered. Weakly, Clayton jumped into the swirling rift. It disappeared behind him as quickly as it opened. “Traveler’s Tea! Quick, don’t let the others escape!” shouted Lloyd as he ran to stop the blue sentries. The other ninja and the purple dragon rushed to grab the masked men. But though they where only a few meters away the masked men where too fast for the ninja, and doing the same as their leader, were gone in a flash.
“Ahhh, they got away! Why does this keep happening?!” Jay yelled in annoyance as he through his hands up in the air. The helicopters sounded like hornets as they still circled the scene. The purple dragon looked up into the sky, thinking about all that had happened, all that was said, all of what was done. There was no way that she could fly away with all the choppers in the sky, so she decided that flying would have to wait.
Noticing she was about to leave, Cole ran over to Purple One saying, “Clara! Wait!”
Clara looked at the Ninja of Earth as he ran; his gold swords on his back reflecting the sun. Before he could reach her the dragon transformed into her true form, the Purple Ninja. Once the Black Ninja reached her, he took out the purple piece of cloth. “This belongs to you.” he stated as he handed the fabric back to the rightful owner.
“Oh, I almost forgot about this. Thank you for returning it to me.” Clara gratefully said as she took the cloth from his hands. A hole was on the middle part her right sleeve. “Now I can fix this. And Cole, were you the one who wrote that note?” But before the Earth Ninja could answer, Zane appeared and answered the question for him.
“Yes, Cole is the one who wrote the note.” he stated.
“Well then, thank you for that.” Clara said kindly surprised at Zane’s entry.
“It was no problem really.” Cole remarked, “Would you ever like to join our team? We could really use a ninja as powerful as you.” The idea of being a part of a team floated around Clara’s mind. It sounded exciting, but she felt unsure.
“I’ll think about it, and thank you again, but for now I must go.” she answered. Before anyone could answer back Clara ran of into the darkness of an alleyway and once more the Purple Ninja was gone.
As Cole watched the mysterious ninja disappear, a thought surged through his head,
“How did she…know my name?”

Wow. I'm not usually a big fan of poems, but that was pretty darn good, Bear! (Oh, yeah, the story part was good, too. )
Thanks so much! The funny thing is I don't alway like reading poems but I do like making them. Some times I find my self thinking in poems. XD
YAY! (By the way, I really like your sig! I memorized that verse in two different versions! . . . both of which are different from yours.)
Thanks! 1 Timothy 4:12 is one of my very favorite verses of all time! (What are the versions that you memorize?) Also your sig is awesome too! (I'm also an Homeschooler)
Btw here the Haiku you have been waiting for. (It's about the fires that are going on around here):
Rolls of Thunder
Chard hills once evergreen The sounds of rolling thunder, rain is almost here…

The only time I ever think in poetry is when I'm arguing with my tutor over math. The poem usually goes like this; "Roses are red, violets are blue, this math stinks and so do you." I'll be the next Edgar Allen Poe!

XD I agree with you about the math. (My math skinks too, but my teacher is awesome!)

{Jammies } Aww, thanks Jon. It has rained a little bit here so it should some what help the fires. But it was interesting that two more fires started only with in a few day of each other...
...I wonder if some one is starting them on purpose...
