You can blame family stuff for being late last night.
Anyways, I'm gonna split this into Aelaedal and Ipeceria. Also, if any Humans didn't list their homeland, I placed them in the most valuable place for them.
--- Aelaedal
The travelers Oliver, Retnuh, Elowyn, Dragen, and Jake were hired to escort a royal family to the large village of Hochbestal. The land near Hochbestal was covered in snow, as it was a castle far to the north, where the snow is cold and unforgiving.
In most cases, any royal family wouldn't need five trained fighters to escort them, but the north of Aelaedal was where Dryadals, or turned Dryads, were living. Rogue Wizards were also heard to be seen that direction, but they were more spread out than the Dryadals. Some simply called those Wizards their common name, others called them bandits. Either way, they were still incredibly lethal and were a force to be reckoned with.
As the quintuple continue on their way, a man wearing a cloak about ankle length and a hood covering his eyes is seen blocking the road. No weapons are visible on him, but based on the covering of his cloak, risks would not be worth taking.
Anyone can go. Please respond within 24 hours.

Ipeceria
At a local tavern in the stronghold of Rollezand, a desert fief, the innkeeper could be seen at his bar serving an odd race in the land, a race of a halfling. On her back is a round, wooden shield and a simple walking stick by her chair. From afar, you could just barely see thin markings in the long stick.
At a table in the corner of the room sat a mildly popular figure in the room, mainly known for his position in House Dranel, a highly respected Dark Elf House located to the north of the desert land. He could be seen with a black and silver hood covering his face. If you looked closely, you could see he held many weapons, such as a bow and quite a few daggers.
Another figure, sitting a few yards (roughly 4 meters, depending on where you're located) away from the Dark Elf was a Dwarf with black, shoulder-length hair. His beard is short when seen by and with other Dwarves, as it only lays to his chest. On his back he wielded a battleaxe.
Other figures could be seen talking around the surprisingly spacious inn room, drinking and eating and the like.
While all the other people in the room were chatting about, a man with smooth, long, black hair enters the room, wearing long, black robes with silver cuffs. His shirt could be seen as a simple white. A few heads turned his direction to see who entered the room, but turned their heads back to their tasks.
The man, when he walked towards the innkeeper, had his back exposed, revealing the hair on his back in an arrow shape, far down his backside.
He sat down close to, but not directly by, the halfling. The innkeeper looked at the man and smiled. (The innkeeper has dark skin due to the large amount of heat in the desert, and is seen wearing white, flowing robes and a similarly colored keffiyeh) "What can I do for you?" He has a deep voice with a noticeable, yet slight accent.

The man does a quick nod and grabs a cylinder-shaped glass and a bottle with dark purple liquid in and pours some drink about two-thirds the way up. He slides the glass towards you. "What brings you here, may I ask?" He smiles reassuringly to show he means nothing personal.

Elowyn stands alongside Retnuh. She nods to the cloaked man, clutching her staff in two hands. "Hello, sir. What brings you to this place?"
