I'm gonna go ahead and allow everyone to submit another application, mainly just to make sure everyone I'm interviewing is active and actually wants to have the job. Also to allow some users that got here recently to sign up. This will be directly copied and pasted, but I will update it, if that helps.
Question 1 Would you prefer to be a writer or someone who prefers to create the classes, races, quests, etc?
Question 2 How much time are you willing to put into this job? (Please say days during the week, not hours. With moderation delays, it's not easy to say hours.)
The writer is someone who helps create backstories, quests, and general lore. The other job - the general committee member - is meant to help create everything from races to places to explore. They also help create ideas to add to the RPG.
Please sign up by the 20th.
I was just about to say "Please get your RPC in by the 20th", but I think everyone's in! If you didn't create yours and I missed you by accident, please tell me or make it before the 20th.
One last thing: If I asked you to edit your character at all, please post your RPC again to make it easier to copy and paste to a notepad document on my computer to make my job easier.
Hello? Is anything happening here? Sorry, I'm just wondering since it's been 2 days since your last deadline.
Tul Generas of the Orcs, Darthraxx of the dragon Knights. I RP, and have lots of fun.

Yeah, it has been. I never actually got around to putting together the RP yet, because I had school problems and stuff. :/
I tried posting a reminder saying to upload your updated RPCs again, but I accidentally (and embarrassingly enough ) posted it in my art shop.
Alayna151 Here is my complete bio, with full appearance.
Name: Ardanar Venthanarin
Title: Count
Race: Dark Elf
Class: Warlock
Weapon: Black cane topped with a small silver falcon, wings outstretched, with an emerald set into its breast. Silver dagger covered in arcane symbols, with a black leather sheath. The dagger is concealed within his robes; easy to draw, but hard to find if you don’t know its location.
Character Traits:
Dexterity: 1 = 1
Strength: 1 = 1
Constitution: 1 = 1
Intelligence: 1 + 6 = 7
Wisdom: 1 + 3 = 4
Charisma: 1 + 9 = 10
Appearance: He wears long black robes with silver cuffs, and a white shirt. His robes are adorned with patterns of silver thread, and he wears black leather boots. His face is pale and thin, standing out against his long, smooth black hair, which run halfway down his back, narrowing until it reaches one single hair. A small section of his hair also comes other both shoulders to hand over his chest. It is kept in place by a silver circlet. He is tall and slim, with piercing grey eyes.
Spells:
Flames of Darkness
Black flames that burn with cold. Can be concentrated in one blast, multiple minor blasts, or used to trap of protect by forming a wall or circle. Last seven minutes if the user is fully focused on them, but only operate at peak efficiency for three. They’re strong enough to hold back lightly armoured enemies for five (those in full armour could get through) but start to flicker and die for the last two, leaving openings that can be exploited.
Binding Fyre/Ropes of Darkness
Creates black bonds that restrain foes. If they struggle, it burns until they stop. If they struggle hard enough, it burns unceasingly. Ropes of Darkness is a variant that does not burn. Both versions last for three minutes, after which they turn brittle and hard (the primary version no longer burns in this form). The hardened ropes last for four more minutes before disintegrating, but depending on the way the target is bound, they may well be able to snap them before that.
Plant Surge
Plants in the area are corrupted, turning black and growing fast, directed by the will of the user. Useful for restraining or distracting foes.
Break Mind
Allows the user to read the minds of the target, and manipulate the thoughts of weak-willed beings (NPCs).
Annihilate
Blasts inorganic object into dust (small organic things like plants and small animals are still affected). Most effective when used on a small area, but is still dangerous if the target is large. Sentient beings radiate an aura that protects them from its effects, and are simply blasted backwards, with NPCs often being knocked out.

Name: Dragen Wingscroft Title: The Dragon Wizard Race: Human Gender: Male Class: Wizard Weapons: Scepter of Dragons (if allowed, doesn't have to be to powerful), can be used a weak mace if need be. Appearance: Black hair, tall, lanky, wears green mottled cloak and a typical brown tunic and pants. Age: 16 Homeland: (whichever one has dwarves and dark elves, I don't know which one is which.) Backstory: Dragen comes from a long line of prosperous mages, and thus has a large number of spell books he can pour over and learn from.
Spells: Dragon Fyre: summons dragon-like flames (can last a total of 4 minutes, or can be spread out in multiple blasts) Dragon Flyte: Allows user to jump extremely far distances, change directions mid-flight and always land safely. Dragon Shyeld: Creates human-sized dragon scales for 10 minutes Enough to completely cover most of a human being (not quite all of him though) Inner Workyngs: Allows him to understand how something works/is laid out (i.e. locks, nerve system, gatehouse layouts, wall support system) Red Mattyr: Turns a horse-sized or smaller chunk of stone or metal into lava.
Also, I noticed that I never got an answer for a couple of things: 1. How do you defeat normal Dragons in this universe? 2. How much defense are Dragon Scales against Acid, Lava, and Energy Lances/bolts etc. that we don't see in LotR yet seem to fit in this universe.

1. Dragons are vulnerable when their scales are penetrated, which can only happen when either a spear, pike, or melee weapon attacks at a scale (scales are a foot long per) or a complicated spell, which can only be learned and cast by certain wizards. Of course, using melee weapons risk your life, as you get up close to the dragon.
2. The previous question sort of answers this one. To defeat a dragon, you can use any weapon that can seep into the skin of the dragon, like acid, lava, etc. Something poisonous is generally the best way to defeat a dragon.
Hello, everyone! I have finally finished the first step of the game: Character creation. There will be a lot of reading, so beware! I apologize to the mod that has to moderate this, though. xD
{Character Creation}There are 5 Races to choose from: Humans Elves Dark Elves Dwarves Halflings
Each Race have their own unique abilities and liabilites that come with them. Humans are the only Race that does not have any liability nor ability. Elves: Elves are masters of magic and healing. They perform exceptionally as Clerics and magic users, as they have +2 Wisdom and +2 Intelligence.
Halflings: Halflings are half the size of a human. With their small size, they serve as great rogues and pickpockets. They have +3 Dexterity and +1 Charisma..
Humans: Humans are the standard race that any can go with. They have 5 points that can go into any category. Dark Elves: Dark Elves are masters of shadows and persuasion, making them great rogues and hunters. They have +2 Dexterity and +2 Charisma. Other Dark Elves serve as magic users, however, and can instead have +1 Wisdom and +3 Intelligence. Dark Elves perform best as Warlocks. Dwarves: Dwarves are the size of Halflings, but are more fit and can lift heavier objects, making them good paladins and warriors. They have +2 Constitution and +2 Strength.
You are able to choose any race to go with any class, but these are simply recommended. There are 7 Classes to choose from: Rogue Hunter Warlock Paladin Cleric Warrior Wizard Each Class have their own abilities and roles. The Rogue serves best as a flanker. The Hunter serves best as a ranged assassin and secondary healer. The Warlock serves best as a damage dealer in the back lines. The Paladin serves best as a sword and shield tank at the front lines. The Cleric serves best as a main healer. The Warrior serves best as a secondary tank. The Wizard serves best as a high damage dealer.
After you have chosen your Race and Class, choose the score abilities for your character. There are 6 score abilities: Dexterity Strength Constitution Intelligence Wisdom Charisma
Dexterity allows for quick movement and balance Strength allows for physical power Constitution is your Health, Stamina, and Magic Power
Intelligence allows for quick learning and reasoning Wisdom allows for casting Charisma is your personality, leadership, and your persuasiveness
Higher wisdom and intelligence is recommended for all magic users Dexterity and Charisma, along with a small improvement of Constitution, is recommended for the Rogue and Hunter. Strength and Contstitution are highly recommended for any tanks, as they allow for damage when needed and health to keep safe.
Every Race starts out with 18 points to put into each category. The Human is the only Race with 4 bonus points to put into any category.
After you have chosen your Race, Class, and score abilities, you may choose a name and customize your character.
Once you have done everything, you are ready to begin!
Weapon: Various two-handed weapons. (Battleaxe, war hammer, greatsword) Armor: Heavy Dwarven plate. Strength: 9 Dexterity: 3

Lust for Gold: When used, increases chance of finding any precious material and decreases Charisma, Intelligence, and Wisdom by .5 for five minutes. Cave Dweller: Great knowledge of underground locations, can see in the dark. Runemaster: Can read, write, and speak Dwarven script with ease.

Did these answers help at all?
OK, I get what you're saying here for the most part, and they do help. However, the first answer I'm quickly going to ask about: The Scales are more or less inpenetrable individually, correct? So if you have one scale as a shield, nothing can directly break the scale, though they are loose enough to easily get around them in Melee combat, correct?
Also, I thought of a new question: What are they made of? Magic material, crystal, stone or metal?

Sorry, I've been busy. 1. Yes 2. I could probably easily do two to three, but it might be more or less depending on the week.
Did these answers help at all?
OK, I get what you're saying here for the most part, and they do help. However, the first answer I'm quickly going to ask about: The Scales are more or less impenetrable individually, correct? So if you have one scale as a shield, nothing can directly break the scale, though they are loose enough to easily get around them in Melee combat, correct?
Also, I thought of a new question: What are they made of? Magic material, crystal, stone or metal?
First off, the scales are more impenetrable, as I'm following the "bed of nails" rule, but that does not mean that they have to be damaged individually. Second, scales can be used as a shield, as they are difficult to damage, but the spell I was talking about earlier can definitely shatter the scales to pieces, making them easy to burn, break, etc. after broken down.
I should also mention, though. If you are able to break off a scale or use a direct spell, particularly Fyre, then you can use the fire to essentially defeat the dragon. Like I said, you have to use a direct spell. Not a Fyreball or a Fyre-type AOE. Something small, like about the size of a bullet, to get in between the scales. Once the skin of a dragon gets caught on fire, it spreads to the rest of the body and defeats it that way (Seems a bit lethal, huh?). The cause of this is because there is this flammable wax that keeps the scales stuck to the skin, like glue. It's tough, but it has a weakness. If you're wondering, I didn't copy this off of LotR. I thought of it, realized it was reasonable, and put it here.
And third, the scales are their own material. You could say they are a magical material, as they aren't easily penetrated. If they were a material such as metal, they could be bent and easily broken off a dragon. If they were stone, they could also be broken easily. Crystal depends on which type you're talking about, but no, they aren't crystal.
