I don't normally wander into Ninjago but I needed a book to read that would most likely be happier than what I'm reading right now.
I'm sure it will be amazing!
Thank you! Despite the darker, more disturbing tones I may be bringing into this story, I think this will be rather more cheerful than Uncle Tom's Cabin.
I'm sure that anything written on these boards will be more cheerful than that.
Chapter 10: Fleeing the Felines and Spilling the Beans “Quick, hide!” Liana rasped, looking panicky. She opened a closet, revealing several dresses that probably belonged to all the girls in the household, and grabbed Zane’s arm. The nindroid didn’t protest as she shoved him inside and shut the door. Meanwhile, Cole and Jay crawled rapidly under the bed, the latter doing his best to contain grunts of pain. Just when Jay was scooting next to Cole and trying to get his legs out of sight, the two of them froze as they heard the door open. Light from the hall flooded into the small room and onto Cole’s hand, which was sticking out. He slid it back under the bed as a young, female voice inquired. “Are you OK? I thought I heard you yelp or something.” Cole peeked out from under the bed to see a pair of pink, fluffy slippers walking up to a pair of pale bare feet. Liana’s voice sounded awkward and uneasy. “Oh? I—I’m OK. I just—stubbed my toe, Rosie, that’s all.” Cole recalled that Rosie was the cousin whom Liana was good friends with. Holding his breath and praying that Jay wouldn’t make a sound, he listened as Rosie said uncertainly. “Are you sure? I feel like you’ve been. . . Out of sorts recently.” “What?” Liana responded cautiously. “What makes you say that?” Rosie paused. Cole couldn’t see her face, but he saw the tip of a long, dark braid hanging down below her waist. There was a moment of silence. Then Rosie spoke quietly. “I know you’ve been having nightmares again, Liana.” He sensed Liana stiffen with tension. “What?” “I’ve heard you. You moan and cry in your sleep, sometimes shouting or sobbing out loud. Do—” She hesitated. “—Do you dream about Philip?” Liana shifted on her feet. “Uh, now really isn’t best time to—” “Is there something you want to talk about?” “. . . No. I’m fine.” Rosie sounded skeptical. “I’m not so sure about that.” “Well, I am.” Silence. Cole thought impatiently. Come onnn, Rosie, she’s fine, go away and go to bed already!
Cole and Jay shared an awkward glance at accidentally eavesdropping in on a private conversation. Finally Rosie said softly. “OK. If—if you’re sure.” The pink slippers stepped to the hallway, and the door began to close. She paused. “I’m here if you ever want to talk to me.” Then the door shut, and the room was cast in shadow again. Liana sighed. “You can come out now.” Zane stepped out of the closet whilst Cole and Jay scooted out uncomfortably from under the bed. Liana stood with her arms crossed, looking flustered and slightly cross. “Explanation. Now.” Cole stood up with a sigh, knowing that his and Liana’s secret was no more. “Liana, this is Zane, the White, A.K.A., Titanium Ninja,” He tilted his head toward the nindroid as he spoke. “And this is Jay, the Blue Ninja. Zane, Jay,” He gestured to Liana. “This is Liana. . . An old friend of mine.” Zane cocked his head curiously. “A friend of yours? From when?” Before Cole could speak, Jay interjected. “Wait—did I hear you mention Philip?” Zane said. “Who?” Liana said. “You know him?” Cole said. “Guys! Now is not a good time! Those cat-things are still out there, and we need to find the others before—” An ear-piercing crash split the air as something big and heavy blasted through the window, showering the room in shards of glass. Everyone ducked down, covering their heads. Jay shouted whilst Liana shrieked in shock. Cole dove to the floor behind the bed, crouching low the avoid the shower of shattered glass. He looked up to see a huge white cat-creature shaking the fragments out of its fur. It stood on all four paws and met Cole’s eyes. With a snarl, it leapt for him.
“Zane, get Jay in here and lock the window.” Liana stood by and listened in bewilderment as Cole and Zane eased Jay inside, helping him down to the floor so he could catch his breath. Cole shut the window quietly behind him, glancing out for any sign of the cats before drawing the curtains. “OK, Cole, you’d better tell me what’s going on here right now. Uncle George is going to completely lose it if he finds three guys with me in my room.” Liana frowned as she set her hands on her hips. “Who are these two, anyway?” Jay gave her an odd look. “What, you don’t recognize us? Can’t you see who we are?” “Actually—” She pulled out a flashlight, clicked it on, and shone it on her face coolly. “—I can’t.” “AUGH!” Jay recoiled at the sight of the six white scars across the girl’s eyes, disfiguring her face and blinding her for life. Zane’s eyes widened, but he said nothing. “Jay!!” Cole flashed him a dirty look and hissed. “Be quiet! You’ll bring the relatives in here—!” “Liana?” A voice called from outside the bedroom. The group froze at the sound of footsteps coming closer. “Are you all right?”

Great move, Cole. You just endangered Liana (who's not so helpless) and worse, her poor family and best friend. . . .
I know right. Yeah. ( Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. The character is Cat Noir of course. I've started watching it just recently since I was curious. Long story short, I find it very entertaining. )
(Sounds fun. )
( It is, ALL my siblings seem to like it. And it's kinda funny since I have to almost force them to watch new episodes of Ninjago, but they're always asking me when we can watch more Miraculous now. )

(Either Miraculous is a really good show, or your siblings have no taste. )
