Prologue:
"There are many people who are misunderstood and sometimes over looked. Maybe it is because they seem weak or even strange to us. I was one of those people. In my village, everyone acted and looked very much the same way. I was different. I could do things others couldn't. I questioned the way of life and why we did what we did. I was very intelligent and was able to influence people to do what I would like them to do. At that time, I didn't understand why I could do this. My abilities were thought to be dangerous and the result of some sort of curse. I was shunned and I became an outcast among my own people. Until one day, something changed..."
Yes, I decided to repost my story from the LMB's here cause I wasn't done writing it. If you were already reading my story, I'm sorry but it might be a while before you can read anything new, cause I have a lot of chapters to post! 😋
Anyways, I hope you enjoy and feedback is always appreciated. 😇
The morning dawned brightly. Just as the first rays of the sun were peeping in her window, Emy Caprean woke up. She gazed out the window, admiring the sunrise. Then, she hurried to get ready for the day. Today, she was going to explore the Deep Woods.
She packed her shoulder bag with everything she would need. She grabbed her bow and quiver of arrows. These were really the only weapon she owned, as the elders were too stubborn to accept any new technology. They said that the ways of their ancestors was much better, after all, what did these young whipper-snappers know about the world anyway? Emy wasn't so sure, which was one of the reasons she lived on the outskirts of the village, all by herself.
Emy left her hut and walked towards the east, towards the sunrise. After a bit of a hike through the plains where the village was, she came to the Deep Woods. Last time she was here, she had found a curious, well-camoflaged cave. She entered it cautiously. It seemed to be bigger than she had first thought. So, Emy lit a torch she had been carrying, and started forward.
The tunnel she was in, opened up into a massive cave system. Emy found a small room on her left. Entering she found a vast quantity of strange, glowing mushrooms. They were so bright that Emy almost found no use for her torch. After gathering a few of the mushrooms, she headed out of the room. Suddenly, Emy thought she saw another light source. She made her way towards it. As she got closer, Emy realized that this was natural light. She reached the end of the tunnel.
Emy gasped. Before her stretched a natural basin in the rocks and trees surrounded the edges. Then, she saw something else. As she drew closer to it, she realized what it was. She had seen these sometimes fly over the village from a big city in the South. It was a crashed Starfighter.

Author's Note. 😋
Valuer is located in the Valousafin System and is the fourth and smallest of Valousafa's moons. It's mostly a grasslands planet, but also has forests, a few areas of desert, and many large bodies of water. It has a small population with mostly immigrants. At the moment, not much law and order exists, but there are smaller sects of powerful people who control large areas. Most of the population are poor and most are merchants and farmers. There are a few natural resources, but not enough revenue to take advantage of them. The Valousafin System is still somewhat primitive in technology when compared to other Systems. The reason for this is because the System is in the Outer Rim and set apart from most of the Galaxy. Also, I made up the whole Valousafin System. 😇
Btw, I accidentally spelled Valuer with two "l's" in the last chapter. That's an incorrect spelling. So, yeah... I'm gonna leave now. 😅
Emy walked around the starfighter, examining it closely. It appeared to be a Delta 7. Of course, She didn't know this yet. It looked as though this starfighter had been here for at least a decade. Emy climbed up one of the wings towards the cockpit. She saw the remains of an astromech droid, still in it's socket.
"Poor little guy," she thought,"he never had a chance."
Moving on, Emy found the glass window had been broken, obviously by the occupant.
"This is amazing!"she said to herself. "I'm sure Derek would love to see this."
Emy started to jump off the ship, when she saw something glitter in the sunlight that was filtering down through the canopy of leaves overhead. She picked up some sort of gadget a longer than her hand. There were also several buttons on it. Carefully, she pushed the largest.
Immediately, a blade of white light ignited from the top. Mesmerized by this..thing. Emy swung it slowly from side to side. She loved the feel of it in her hands. She got a little bolder with it and swung a little harder.
Accidently, she loped off a branch on a bush that was nearby. Suprised, she stared at it for a second, then she wondered,"What else can this do?" Emy had to find out. So being careful not to hit herself, she brought the blade down on a rock as hard as she could. It sliced cleanly in half!
Emy extinguished the blade,"I need to find out what this is."
So, she ran as fast as she could, almost the whole way back to the village. She went to a house and knocked softly on the back door.
"Derek? Are you there? It's me."
The door opened and a middle aged man emerged,"What is it, Emy?" he asked.
