Moe woke her up hours later, it was still dark. He went to sleep and Zephyr was left to her blurred thoughts. It wasn't easy to stay alert, but she was determined to. Sensei, Lisa ,Jadyn and Moe were sleeping soundly. Forest sounds were in background. Zephyr wondered what creatures made those noises. Zephyr took out her knife. So if it looked so much like the knives these people held, where did her father get it? The options went through her mind: He either got it from the same knife maker for whatever reason, stole it, found it, it was given to him, he bought it second hand, or, he was one of them at a time. The last one seemed unlikely, especially considering her father was nothing like those people. Zephyr had assumed like everyone else they were miners at first. Greedy miners trying to make money. But one thing didn't make any sense, why would miners need small knives with symbols on them? Miners needed havey duty tools for the most part to dig through hard dirt and rock. Why would a knife be their go to weapon? Zephyr looked at the symbols closely, she could see them by the light of the fire. Something like a shooting star or comet or something, like on the capes they draped over their shoulders' that was one symbol. The other a wolf paw with stripes through it, like on their uniforms... What did it all mean? Did it mean anything at all? Where these symbols important? She puzzled over all this and more until the sun came up. In the morning they put out the fire, ate the last of the dried food and headed back to the jet. Sensei said. " I'm going to see what I can do to repair this, or at least the cumication device. If that doesn't work we can ask Nina or Lily if we can use a phone. In the meantime you four go back to the alley and see what you can find. " " But what if they're still there? " Asked Moe. " Then get out of there. "
They carefully approached the alley. It didn't seem as safe as it did before. They stopped at the entrance of the alleyway and looked in. " It looks empty. " Said Moe. They entered slowly. The alley actually seemed clean. The walls had fresh paint the same color as buildings and the area seemed sweept clean, no one could have guessed the fight had happened the day before. " Are we sure this is the same alley? " Asked Moe. Zephyr had to admit she was just as confused as Moe. " Maybe they covered their tracks. " Said Jadyn. If someone had planned all this they had sure put a lot thought into every little detail. " I don't see anything that could help us. " Said Lisa glancing around. They headed back over to Sensei. " There's no way this thing is flying today. Time to borrow a phone. " They went back to Nina's house and she let them use her phone. Zephyr was glad because she got to see Nina's dogs again. Sensei phoned Nathan at the dojo first. He put it on speaker and the sound of Nathan's voice answered. " Hello?" " Nathan it's us! " Said Moe. " Are you guys ok?! I was up all night worrying about you! Where are you? " " We're fine now Nathan, we are still at the town, the jet is broken so we're going to find a different way home. " Said Lloyd. "What happened? " They explained everything to him, even down to some of the details about injuries. " Well I'm glad you're all ok. I wish I was there. " " Careful what you wish for. " Said Lisa jokingly. " When can I expect you home? " " If we're not home by tomorrow you can worry. " Said Sensei. They talked with Nathan a little more and then said goodbye. " Bye, hope you guys will be home soon. " After Nathan hung up Sensei called Mindroid asking him to tow his jet and fix it. Once he had that worked out he thanked Nina and went back to the jet. " I guess we can use my elemental dragon to fly home. So long as I can focus with this pain in my leg. We won't fly to high just in case though. " Said Sensei.

Sensei Lloyd was in front, behind him was Moe, than Jadyn, than Lisa, and Zephyr was in the very back. The energy dragon spread it's wings and took flight, gliding just above the trees and buildings below. Every once in a while Sensei would go higher or lower depending on how he felt. It was smooth sailing for the most part, until Sensei Lloyd started to show obvious signs that his leg was bothering him. He made the energy dragon go lower as they flew over a grassy felid below. Not a moment to late either because the dragon flickered and faded and then disappeared from beneath them. Zephyr fell a few feet from the air to ground and landed painfully in the tall grass next to Lisa. " Are you ok Sensei? " Asked Jadyn. " Yes yes, I just need a rest. " He replied rubbing his leg carefully. " Is everyone else ok?" Jadyn asked. " Yeah I think so. " Repiled Zephyr. " I'm ok. " Said Lisa. " Who made you safety captain? " Joked Moe. After Sensei had rested for a bit they took off again, this time stopping for a rest more often so they wouldn't have any more crash landings. At last by the end of the day they made it back to the dojo, tierd, hungry and in Sensei's case in pain, they stumble into the dojo greatfully. Nathan was delighted to see them and asked them many questions about how it went and if he could help any of them with anything. They had a large dinner and Zephyr went to bed right after, she went to sleep quickly and more likely then not so did everyone else.
Vengestone? Darn, should've known they couldn't let this go unchecked.
Yeah, if an elemental master is touching, chained to or in a cage or cell made of vengestone they can't use their elemental power. It was actually brought in as early as season one.
*** " I'll show you once we decide which house to ask. " Moe pointed back were they came from and said. " How about the house with the dogs, I bet the lady is still awake so it's not we'd be waking anyone. " They all agreed that would be best and creeped over to the front of the house. Lisa explained that should take off thier ninja hoods and the top part of their gi so it could just looked like they were wearing a t shirt and pants. Which could easily pass for pajamas if anything.
The woman called her sister and shortly after a van pulled up to the house with a woman driving it who looked about ten years younger than the woman with the dogs. They leaned that woman's name was Nina and her sister who was driving was named Lily. They decided they would drive the van up to the forest and Lily would go in the forest with the four of them to see how bad the injury was. They did this and in no time they were tracking through the forest again they reached the spot where Sensei Lloyd was and Lily rushed to examine him. " I see you secured it in place, now let me see..." She unwrapped his leg carefully. " Ah, I know how they'll deal with this, I might as well do this here and now if you can stand the pain. " She commented. " That would be very much appreciated. " repiled Sensei. Lily went back to the van to get her supplies as she called it, and a flashlight. She came back with a backpack full of medical equipment. In short she got right to work with it while the four of them would take turns holding the flashlight. It was quite graphic, but she eventually after a lot of careful work got the arrow out in one piece and wrapped Lloyd's leg. " Thank you... Is there any form of payment you'd like? " Asked Sensei. " Hmm, I don't think so. I've heard a lot about you green ninja, and unlike my sister I think you've been through a lot for the people of Ninjago's safety. Consider this an act of kindness in return. " ***

Zephyr used her element once again to deal with the pressure of her enemies around her. What else could she do? Her adrenaline was rushing, her face was hot underneath her ninja suits and the cloth around her mouth was wet from her breath. Lisa came up behind the group attacking Zephyr and shot some ice at them. One who avoided her icy blast turned on her and brought their knife down on her hand! To Zephyr's shock it made impact with her hand but didn't penetrate her skin! Lisa winced and backed away from the attacker. Without thinking it through Zephyr took control of the force of gravity around Lisa's attacker lifting the person off their feet and throwing them aside. " Lisa!" Zephyr ran over to Lisa. Lisa showed Zephyr her hand briefly, it only looked bruised. " That's how I know I'm not human. " Said Lisa turning to an oncoming opponent and kicking hard at them. Moe came over by Zephyr and Lisa whacking a few enemies down. Jadyn joined them shortly after throwing fire at opponents feet and slashing the occasional knife or star at them. They all fought with their backs to each other as the hooded figures surrounded them on all side's. Sensei Lloyd was holding out his own very well, using both his skill and power. How long they'd been fighting Zephyr didn't know, it could have been minutes, yet then again it could have been hours... It was weird, it didn't seem like they were really trying to beat Zephyr and her friends, more like testing to see what they could do.
So to you Yokai werecats and murderous wolf inspired warriors could be considered canon?
Sounds right in line.
