Yeah kinda, if Wild Krats counts. But even if I didn't hear any rumors or anything, I'd still be open to the idea. I believe there's a chance that there's still a few dinosaurs in Congo. ( and that I have heard many rumors about. )
Lithgow and Blue Mountains Panther sightings? Australia is huge, so it is somewhat possible that the Thylacine still exists. For 90 years we thought the Fierce Snake was a myth and each day we are discovering new species of plant, bees and other insects of Australia.

Hey, I've heard about Congo's dinosaurs, too!! There are a lot of rumors about things like Bigfoot, the Lochness Monster, big cats like panthers loose in Great Britain, and even stranger and more obscure creatures roaming about. The Earth is enormous, and we've only scratched the surface of what lies beneath the sea. I think we have many more animals to discover on our planet.
(Well, I don't know about that. My parents knew what a little stinker I was regardless of my age, so I probably would have been punished, seeing that I most likely would have been the one who started the brawl. )
Me: *lying* "She started it!"
Parents: *look at you* *look back at me* "Yeah. . . I'm sure. You're not fooling anyone, you little stinker."
Me: "Uh. um -- well, she would have started it if I didn't attack her first! "
Parents: "OK, time for a spanking." *grabs my hand and drags me to the house* "I hope you've learned your lesson, young lady."
Me: "Yup, I have! Next time don't get caught. "
Parents: "TIGRESS. "
( Ah ok. )
Me: "That's why telling a grown up works" ( I have a bit of a history with tattling. )
