( I think I'm becoming more picky, I've been cutting and changing parts a lot more. )
The last day of summer, the first day of the Autumn Festavel. The wind blew in Zephyr's Moe's and Lisa's hair as they waited outside the dojo for Jadyn and his sister to pick them up. It had only been a week that Jadyn had been away, but to Zephyr it had felt more like seven years. It was kinda silly that she was so worried about him being gone for such a short time considering she hadn't even exactly known he existed until a few months ago when she had met him and Lisa for the first time. Finally a white SUV with lots of decals on it drove up to the dojo. Zephyr could see Jadyn and his sister through the window where they sat in the front seats. Relief. Lisa walked up to SUV and opened the door. The three of them piled into the SUV and buckled up. Jadyn's sister looked back at them from her driver's seat. She had a dark auburn ponytail and she wore what looked like goggles on her head, there was a pencil tucked in her hair and she wore a white lab coat like a scientist would wear. She wore a bright expression and loudly she said. " So THIS, is the rest of your team. We FINALLY meet. " She grinned entuasticly. " I'm Copic, Copic Smith some call me. Although it doesn't sound very good so just call me Copic. You might think I'm a little insane at times, but that's normal! So don't you worry! I already know you're names so we can skip the part about you telling me your names. ANYWHO, let's get this show on the road!"
She then hit the gas and the vehicle roared to life, she drove a little ways away from the dojo and then turned on the radio, a pop song was on. She turned up the sound so that you could almost feel it in the air and then she pushed the gas down to make the SUV go much faster. Copic didn't only have the outside of her SUV decorated, she had widow stickers of all sorts and she had stuff propped up on the dashboard, such as some stuffed animals and random household objects. There was at least five car scent things, and on the floor there were things like tools, blankets and trash from fast food places. As they drove, it felt like they'd fly over bumps and just barely make it last second at turns. Zephyr knew next to nothing about cars and riding in them, but she was pretty sure this was NOT how most people drove. Nonetheless she did admirer Copic's conference and attitude. When they got to some roads that more and more cars were on Copic started talking to them like they could hear her or something and would say things like: " Shoot buddy, watch it! " ," Out of the way little guy! I DON'T WANT TO SQUISH U!" and " ARE YOU INSANE!?! Don't look at your device!!! People could SMASH! " At last they reached their destination at the fest grounds. Zephyr tumbled out of the SUV nearly sick. Moe actually rushed over to the nearest trash can and stuck his head in it. Copic walked over to him and said "That's it, just let it all out and you'll feel better soon buddy. " Zephyr could now see that under the lab coat Copic wore an orange-yellow sweater with a cat on it and gray sweat pants. " Copic, are you sure this parking spot is legal?" Asked Lisa. "There doesn't seem to be any other cars over here. " " Idk. " repiled Copic shrugging. .
"What'd she say? " asked Zephyr legitimately confused. Lisa asked. " Could you please go park somewhere else? " " Alright, but it's not really necessary, I'm buddies with most of the police officers in Ninjago ya know. " Copic replied smugly. " Doesn't matter. " said Lisa. " K fine snowflake, I'll do it I'll do it. See you guys later! " Copic said as she got into her SUV and drove away, radio still on. Lisa, Moe, Jadyn, and Zephyr trailing close behind them, headed for the festival. There were games people were playing, food vendors and people tailgating. Kids were playing with sparklers and pop it's, there was even a live band on a stage. All wonderful, but a lot to take in at once... There was also signs up saying that a fireworks show was happening that night. Also there were people everywhere. Great... thought Zephyr. She was determined to have good time though even if the whole place was crowded, and she'd never seen fireworks in real life before, so she was looking forward to that. Copic joined them and they all walked around the festival seeing what there was to see. They got to sample free ice cream, Zephyr had never actually tried ice cream before, mostly because there wasn't really a way to keep stuff that cold in Hiroshi's Labyrinth. When she said she'd never had ice cream Copic looked horrified. " GASP! Never had ice cream? Where were you raised? The jungle? " asked Copic. This made Zephyr panic on the inside. What do I say!?! She thought. She must have made a face since Copic rolling her eyes said. " I'm joking, really. " Zephyr tried the ice cream, it was so different from anything else she'd ever had, she'd compare it to maybe milk, but much colder ticker and sweeter, and much better then the powdered milk she was used to.
After that they found out where the kids were getting the sparklers from. They all agreed they would try one except for Jadyn who said he didn't need to, but to this Lisa said. " If anyone needs to hold a sparkler it's you. " " Really I'm fine." He replied. " DO IT! " said Copic forcing one into his hand. " Ok... " He said glancing at Zephyr. " Zephyr should light her's first though since it's her first time. " Zephyr placed the gray sparkler stick in the candle like she saw the kids doing, suddenly it lit up in an inexplainable sparkle of fire. She pulled it away from the candle and watched in awe as it blazed on the stick. Jadyn is lucky he will one day be able to control this element. Thought Zephyr. Everyone else lit there's too, even Jadyn, who after lighting his stared at the sparkler with an uneasy expression. With his free hand he touched the scar on his right side of his head. When they were finished with sparklers they walked around some more. Copic disappeared for a moment and then reappeared bubbling to Lisa about how she'd found some old friends of theirs' and how it would be great to watch the fireworks with them. " Do you guys want to join us? " asked Lisa. " I was actually going to try and see if my family was here to watch the fireworks with. " said Moe. " I'll help you look till you find them. " said Jadyn. " And I'll go with you guys too. " said Zephyr to Jadyn and Moe. She'd much rather hang out with them at the moment. " Ok, see you later. " said Lisa as she and Copic went over to where their friends were gathered. " My family usually hangs around the south-east part of the fest grounds. " said Moe glancing around. Jadyn and Zephyr followed Moe as he made his way through the crowded fest grounds. " I see them! This way. " said Moe motioning for them to follow.
*** A whole hour huh? Might as well make the best of it. Thought Zephyr. She started by dropping each item one by one, once she'd gone through them all she started tossing and flipping them. Once she was bored with that she made a paper airplane out of the paper and messed around with it for awhile. Then she tossed around the baseball, long story short it ended up on the roof. She then put the rubber duck at the top of one of the mini waterfalls and let it float until it plummeted down the waterfall and watched as it was pushed by the water up to a point where the water flow wasn't strong enough to push it anymore. She did more and by the time Sensei Lloyd came back the paper airplane was soaked, the rock was destroyed by being rubbed on an aurora mineral, the baseball still on the roof, and the rubber duck was now the greatest waterfall adventurer in Ninjago. " So what did you learn? " asked Sensei. "You can do lots of cool stuff with a box of random objects." Zephyr answered honestly. " ...Maybe we're going at this the wrong way..." Said Sensei.
XD This is so me. This whole part made me laugh out loud, I love it.
The next day Zephyr, Lisa, Jadyn and Moe were playing video games in their spare time. "Come on! Come on!" Shouted Moe desperately. "We're trying! " said Lisa. " Ouch! I'm outa' lives." said Zephyr as her avatar flashed red and fell over. "Oh there I go too. " said Lisa. " Come on Jadyn, we need to beat this guy! " Said Moe entuasticly as the creature on the screen roared menacingly. " Right, how about I fight the small bugs he spits out and you hit him on the head. " said Jadyn making his character swing his sword at enemies. " Ok here I go, and no! No! Not the lava blast! " shouted Moe as his and Jadyn's avatars got enveloped in lava shooting from the creature mouth. **

Sensei then started playing through each and every level quickly and without any fails, speeding through it casually. What would have been levels that might have taken someone five to twenty minutes Sensei finished within a minute or less. "Is he? Is he speed running? " asked Moe. "In a way." Replied Jadyn. " How? " said Moe. " What did you think I do with my free time? Meditate? " said Sensei still grinning. Within a reasonable amount of time Sensei Lloyd had made it to the level they were at. With a mischievous glance at Moe Sensei took out the creature in no time hardly. " I think that's enough showing off for today. " said Sensei. He saved and quit, turning the game off and then said " Alright everyone out, you need to get back to your free time don't you? " He got up to leave the room but Moe stopped him. "Wait, please tell me everything! Teach me! " He grinned wider still and replied " Perhaps I can teach you a little. "
"Sensei, teach me your wise ways!"

Lisa stood outside of the Dojo on a nearby hill. The sun was setting, shades of orange and yellow lit the sky. Sensei Lloyd had left a few days ago and Jadyn had left a day or so after that to spend his eighteenth birthday with his sister like he said he would. Lisa hoped he was alright, this was his first birthday away from both of his parents. Zephyr and Moe were inside playing video games, they had asked Lisa to join them but she refused, she knew the time was near, she could feel it. Like a tingling in her vains, light headedness in her head and vapor in her chest. Suddenly a blueish white light came from over the horizon and straight toward her, she cought the ball of energy almost without thinking about it. Then the sence in front of her shifted and she could see the dark landscape of the Dark Island around her. Then, she saw her father, standing there right in front of her. ** " Will you?.. Will you live father? " asked Lisa trying to keep herself from tearing up. Zane grinned. " Most likely. Be strong my daughter. " And with that the Dark Island began to fade away and the sunset returned. The ball of energy went into Lisa and she felt a cold warmth throughout her body. Her father began to fade, she reached out to touch him but her hand went right through him like a ghost and before she knew it he was gone. " Father... "
*** " Whoa! What happened? " said a voice. At first Lisa had thought the training pads had just been left out, but she now realized Moe had been sleeping on them and he was now tumbling off them in surprise. " Ouch... " He mumbled. " Moe, why aren't you in bed? asked Lisa. " I could ask you the same question. Whoa, what's that? " He pointed at the ice Lisa had just made. " Ice. " She said hoping he would connect the dots on his own. " Wait really? Did you? " Asked Moe amazed. " I just fully inherited the power from my father." Lisa explained. "Awesome! I wanna try. " Moe said eagerly. " " How do you plan to accomplish that? " asked Lisa curiously. " How'd you do it? " He asked. Lisa did her best to explain it to him and when she was finished he said " Ya know maybe I can just start running and see if that works. " " Are you sure? I mean you don"t want to resprang your leg or anything. " "I'll be fine, it's all healed up now, and besides, I want to unlock my element as soon as possible! " He said heading for the door. "Wait... You're not doing this now, are you? " Lisa asked skeptically. " Of course I am. " He said grinning. " Ok... Go ahead then. But I'm going to bed. " " Ok! See ya! " And with that he opened the door and ran outside.
Running around in the dark, ok... Thought Lisa. She'd probably never fully understand Moe, or any of her other teammates for that matter... Lisa went into her room. Luma woke up from the noise and bounced around her cage a bit before settling back down to rest. Lisa got ready for bed and then finally crawled into bed with releaf. She had done it. She hopped Jadyn was going to be alright, she knew he hated the idea of inheriting his father's element. She remembered back when they were very young. Jadyn, his older sister Copic , herself and Jay and Nya's daughter Zalea would pretend they had their parents' elements. At that time Jadyn embraced it, they all did and would imagine themselves as the future protectors of Ninjago. However, many circumstances caused this future to never be. Lisa wondered who Jay would pick to pass his powers to since Zalea had passed away long ago... Probably his son, although he seemed so young for such a task... Before Lisa could think of much more, she drifted off to sleep.
Oh my goodness! Guess what? I just watched a video of fifty wolves howling, it was chillingly awesome. But then I look in the comments section and people are saying " I love hearing Zephyr howl" and I'm like how do they know about my character? Turns out the wolf the camera was on is named Zephyr. Funny coincidence right?
