Zephyr was in the woods again, the green dragon from her first strange dream was looking down at her, the coyote with icey blue eyes, the fox with the firey red pelt, and a border collie with light brown fur. She was a wolf again of course. The dragon gave them one last glance before flying up though the trees and out of sight. The coyote yawned, the fox looked longly at the sky and the border collie was running laps around the clearing. Zephyr looked down at her paws, she enjoyed being a wolf like this, but she was starting to wonder, why a wolf? Suddenly a noise cought her attention, her gray ear swerved in the derection of it and her feet soon followed. She glanced back at the clearing were the other canines were distracted. She then slipped into the brush quietly following the noises in the distance. As she got closer the noises got louder and the woods around her got darker. She could now tell what the sounds were, although she wasn't sure if she could wanted to believe it. Wolf howls and yelps could heard, and although she knew little about wolves, she could tell from the ton what was happening. A hunter's cry, they are hunting. She thought. Zephyr reached a legde that overlooked the darkest part of the woods, and below she could the unmistakable shadows of wolves. They were circling a smaller figure that stood in center of a clearing. Zephyr knew the smaller creature's fate moments before it actually happened. The wolves attacked and Zephyr flinched back so suddenly she awoke a second later breathing sad and scared sobs uncontrollably. When she finally was able to get control of herself she noticed that she had been sweating like crazy. She got out of her bed and walked around for a bit. It had just been a dream, none of that was real or actually happened. But why had the small creature's death felt so real? She recalled the look of fear in his dog-like eyes a second before the wolves had come opon him. She tried not to think about it, it was a dream, nothing more.
I think I'd rather listen to inspirational music like hymns.
Nice. I think I listen to more rock. But I also listen to other stuff, along with what I would call inspirational music. ( although most of that would fall under the category of soundtracks. )
I don't listen to much music as a rule, but I like Celtic hymns.
Lloyd was paging through The Book of Spinjitzu again, hoping to find some clue his uncle might have left in it. Sensei Wu seemed to always know when a threat was about to rise, that's supposedly according to some, how he knew to form the ninja team in first place. Lloyd however could not do the same, he'd been going off guesses, his own gut, his teammates advice, clues he assumed were from Sensei Wu, and a dream or two. But that was about it, which was fine, but it was highly unfortunate how the ninja found out they were needed on The Dark Island, and it took even more trouble to find a solution. Prahpes if he wrote about his thoughts on everything his head would clear up, that's what his uncle and his father did as Sensei, he should do the same. He got out his journal, which he'd written a little in, but not whole lot, and started writing.
I am writing this journal in hopes to clear my mind and relax my body. My students do not know how I feel about most of this because I keep it hidden. They need a strong sensei, one they can look up to. However they don't need to be overwhelmed by trying to live up to my example, which is why I have not revealed to Zephyr or Moe my true identity as the green ninja yet. Once I feel they're ready though, I'll be more then happy to reveal myself. Which should be soon enough, the team has been bonding, especially thanks to that game they've been playing. ( I might try and best them at it sometime. )
I do that, too.
Yeah, Lloyd, you show those youngsters how it's done.
Especially since Moe has arrived, training has been been much easier to plan, now I can have the four train in groups of two, which is helpful because it saves time. Moe has taken to his training very well, and is leaning fast. Zephyr is doing better every day, although there's still much she needs to get over before reaching her true power. ( like trusting her teammates ) Lisa ties harder then ever to please me and help her teammates out. Jadyn is uneasy, I don't blame him considering what he's been through. On top of that he and Lisa are slowly gaining their parents' elemental powers as the ninja must give up their powers as they defeat the darkness slowly but surely. In time though the full blast of the element will enter them and they will have fully inherited their parents elements. It is then that I worry the ninja will be at their weakest state, however, so will our enemy, and that is the time I must go and to make sure they succeed in truly defeating him. In the meantime though, I believe my students are ready to learn spinjitzu. Which I will start training them on tomorrow. That is all for now.
*** " Now go, bring justice for the sake of Ninjago and it's future. " Said Alpha. They watched as Haiki quietly walked down the hill and expertly entered the house. " So far so good. " whispered a Pack rank warrior. " Who's house is this?" Whispered a student. " Master of poison's best friend. One of last people we want possibly inheriting that element. " replied someone who was Pack rank. "Quite everyone, pay attention." Said a Wolf rank general. A howl sounded from the outside of the house. " The hunter's cry! He's done it! " Someone said, but it was quickly drowned out by the sound of everyone in group making the same wolf cry. Alpha gladly joined them, a cry of victory, a cry of pursuit, a cry of defiance.
Hey, I was wondering when we'd see these guys again!
Haiki had soon made his way back to them and the howling, yiping, and yelping soon stopped. The knife was still in his hand, now used and in need of cleaning. "Did he wake? " asked a Wolf. Haiki shook his head no. "Take a knee. And remove your hood. " Said Alpha. Haiki did as he was told, his unatural gray dyed hair was now blowing in the wind. " I Alpha Adolphus the alpha and master of the pack, welcome you to wolf rank with the expectation that you uphold your vows, treat the pack as family, and elemental masters or anyone associated with them as enemies. That you will to the best of your ability help the pack to achieve the common goal of riding the word of supernatural power for the greater good of the planet. Haiki, you are officially Wolf rank!" With those words the whole group began to howl, not the hunter's cry like they did earlier, but the homage cry, that was for respect. Alpha thought as he howled with them. I promise you, my pack, I will do everything in my power to achieve our goal. We will have victory in your lifetime. For your children, and mine...
